Wow
As I was reading I felt like I was really listening to Logan say all of these things.
You rally nailed him!
I love this story,I have read it a few times.
HOTTT!

Author's Response: aw, thanks! Glad you liked it. I was in a silly mood when I wrote it, and wanted Logan to have some observations that were kinda jaded and resigned, like he's just seen it all before, even though the stuff going on with Vic would have horrified most people.

Always liked this story, meant to review it too. It's good way to tie in the birthday tradition Logan has with Sabertooth and make something good out of it in the end.

Nice work, hon

Author's Response: The birthday tradition from CLassic X-Men. Yes, my friend, that's exactly where I was going with that. Good eye. Thanks for the compliment, I always appreciate yours.

I know Logan heals fast but wow! Sex right after forcible removal of an organ! And yeech what a tradition to have...an annual showdown with Sabertooth. Whoa. At least it had an very happy ending. :)

Author's Response: the story behind that should be printed in Classic Xmen Vignettes. Sabertooth always attacks him on his birthday, and tries to kill him. in that story, he ripped out his throat and killed a lady that was flirting with Logan. Logan has a lot of those weird traditions, that and cutting off a bodily part from Matsuo every year for killing Mariko. Gruesome, eh?

OMG, that was... mmmmhhhh! *fans herself* So hot and sexy! So full of RoLo goodness :)
And Vic! Gads, that guy cracks me up. Sure, he's a psycho, but I love him anyways :D
I enjoyed the first person's point of view quite a lot. It made everything more tangible. Feelings, emotions, it pulled me deep into what was going on.

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it and thought it had tangibility. That was what I was hoping for, was to see, smell and touch everything the way he did. I still don't feel like I dug deep enough, but I am working on it. THanks for visiting. Oh, and glad you liked Vic!

This is a beautiful story. Love the first person. Wow, you totally nailed Logan. Am, I suprised. No, duh!

But it was everything I love about Rolo and the stories here. They were sweet, relaxed, friendly, sexy, worried, and fun. More please.

Author's Response: The idea of these two never knowing when to celebrate their birthdays hit me and wouldn't let go of me a while back, so I have been meaning to write this for a while. I am glad you enjoyed this, kid. I normally never write Logan in first person, since I don't have "male" first person perspective, but I still had fun with it. I've toyed with the idea of writing Vic in first person before, even though I feel as though I would get sucked into his psychosis too deeply!!! This was a one-shot, but I have more of them in mind.

I don't think I've ever experienced such a wide range of emotions during a single chapter. This was disgusting (the liver bit was especially memorable as I was eating while reading *gags*), steamy, and touching all in one. How you managed that, I'll never know.

I enjoyed this, but then again none of your stories disappoint me.

Author's Response: ...right. Note to self: Put disclaimer on stories noting "contains flopping organs, do not eat while reading this." Check. Gotcha. Thanks for reading, anyway, kid. Vic has always kinda struck that note in me, he enjoys being bad, so I could see him doing that, icky image that it is...

Awww, man. *sniff* I love angst and this Logan just breaks my heart. But then you have to go and ramp up the awww factor with Ro and the cake. Sigh. Just ...sigh. It is sweet and sexy. And the writing is superb, as usual.

Author's Response: I'm grinning miles wide, thank you! I usually hate writing in first person. I always feel like the "monologue" suffers from the characters thinking out loud and not being real enough, but this one came to me easily when I made up my mind to write a one-shot that I toyed with the idea of these past weeks. I got to read your update today, and I was dancing like a fool in my seat. I don't know why I had Ororo wax domestic in this, but I just wanted her to bake him a cake.

Sweetest ROLO moment ever! I mean really really cute and nice and...Definitely one of your best so far. Is this a one-shot? It would be perfect as a one-shot. Then again i don't think i can take much more of this melancholic mood if there are other chapters.

Author's Response: you are correct; this is a one-shot, for the mere angst factor alone, as well as the fact that it didn't take a handful of chapters for the two of them to start going at it. Initially, yes, I was just going for melancholy, but I was thinking about the characters' shared tragedies, namely their upbringings where they both lost their parents. Previously, it was going to be Ororo who had the birthday, and Logan who helped her celebrate it, but I had more to work with when I thought of Logan. Thanks for reading, glad you enjoyed the "moment."

Steamy sticky goodness. Mmmmmmm. **claps happily** Man--Making a pregnant woman hornier than she already is--is just bad form, cee. :P

Author's Response: Girl, I'm still breaking out into giggles every time I reread Slow Burn and see that mention of rabbits. Surprisingly enough, I wrote this story with frequent interruptions from my daughter and her Dora the Explorer DVDs playing in the background. How a person can think of smut with that going on in the house with them is beyond me...there's something wrong with me, clearly. And hey, pregnant women have enough to suffer through, they deserve to read smut any chance they get!!! *hugs*
