This fic is basically the poster child (of RoLo AUs) for the Earn Your Happy Ending trope, haha. Jesus Christ. I feel like Anna summed it up best in this chapter; you just want to bang their heads together to make them see reason.

I felt Tory's ache in this :( That was really painful to read. And I mean that in the best possible way! They're both being so stubborn and proud, but with Ororo and her particular history of loss and heartache and bad case of abandonment issues(!!!), it's just. Ow. Like, I know Logan's suffered just as much, but maybe it's me being a female that I feel like Ororo must feel her loss that much more keenly, which is why she's finding it so hard to get over her past and put her trust in Logan again.

At the same time, I'm really liking all this drama. It would have been strange if things were suddenly fixed and fine and dandy after the emotional rollercoaster that was the last few chapters. This feels right (even if it feels terrible!) I just kind of hope that a happy ending isn't too far off, and that there's one planned for them eventually! (sorry, I'm such a sap. I love happy endings.)

This was a great update, Cee! I'm so excited that you haven't given up on this story! :)

I was excited to see that you had updated. I love the chapter as well as the story. I can't wait for to come. I am wondering is Logan is going to follow her to New York. Anyway love the story and please update soon.

Author's Response: I'm wondering what the heck Logan is going to do next, too... hmmmm. *drums fingers thoughtfully* We shall see. Heeheehee. Thanks for visiting.

Talk about a cliff hanger. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this fic and can not wait to see what happens. Thought that the introduction of the reason why she left was fitting especially with the surprise of RoKs condition. I hope you update soon. I really enjoy your writings.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for visiting my story and leaving feedback. I'm still figuring out how I want to resolve 'Ro's situation. I want it to be a happy ending, but I want her to work for it.

Author's Response: That darn Ororo does need to give him a chance, doesn't she? :) Working on it. I'm flattered that you read the whole thing in one day! I see a happy ending for these two, they both deserve it. Thanks for visiting.

Oh, god. This is my favorite AU, I think. (It's hard, I love all your AU's) This update is fantastic, and I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time pushing this muse in the direction you want it to go. I know how that feels. I don't know how much it means, but I just want to say that this chapter was fantastic, definitely didn't fail in delivering the emotionally charged tension and that plot twist! Ugh. This is great. I love the level of detail that really makes it all feel like it's set in the real world where they have real problems (at work, with relationships, with family... Logan's pain was so palpable in this. I really felt for him. My goodness.), that I'm in awe of how much you're able to put into your words. You're a really good storyteller, Miss Cee. This is great, and I hope you get bitten by the writing bug again someday, because (of that cliffhanger!!!) I do believe this is worth returning to. Until then, peace!

Author's Response: Woo-hoo! With a review like that, I need to kick my muse's butt and get cracking! Marbles, your praise means a lot, since I love YOUR stories that I've read out here. I started out just wanting to write something "quirky" when this story's main idea came to me. The love scene wrote itself before the rest of the plot, and I took off with little actual direction from there, but it's been fun. I like "real world" problems. I like people who pay bills, take care of sick parents, argue with the black sheep in their family, get drunk, make goofy choices like one-nighters or who walk home with their clothes inside-out. I can't stand fics, or any actual books, where all of the characters are perfectly beautiful, conveniently wealthy, and who think the world revolves around them. Thanks so much for visiting my story. I hope I can tweak an update soon.

Don't feel bad CeeCee, I'm having a slight slump too with my own original story. Best thing to do is keep going at whatever pace you can manage. Anyway, it was nice to see something new from this story again. Reading it, brings back so many good memories. And it looks like things are still still strained between Logan and Ororo. I was wondering if Logan was going to be stubborn and just let Tory leave without at least trying. Even though, she turned him down, (why I'm still not getting) I think if anything he'd know he'd given everything he possibly could.

Tory, on the other hand. She's something else. I mean, if anything if she was suspecting that she was pregnant that she might at least want to clue the guy in. Now, a bun's in the oven and Logan for the time being is out of the picture. I don't know what she's going to do.

Good work as always hon, great to see your still writing too. Later!

Author's Response: Brandon! Baby doll, I've missed talking to you! It's so good to hear from you! Ororo is at a funky point in her life. She's going to be hyper-focused on that little bun in the oven, because she's lost one before, and this one is special, since it owns half of Logan's DNA. Logan isn't going to make it easy on her, not to worry, and even if she gets her moving truck packed, it won't be without a few obstacles... hahaha. Yeah. That's how I roll, buddy. I want to hear about your original story. That sounds exciting!

I reread this again, because clearly I hate myself! One of your best right here, Miss Cee. This was easier to read this time around, though most of the sales talk still flies right over my head. But not in a bad way - I kind of wonder how it is you manage to write convincing arguments and conversations and discussions without sacrificing fluidity. That's a gift!

Hope you update soon, and that this gets wrapped up someday! A lot of the side-pairings here are illegally adorable (Ali and Cain, Monet and Everett, Monica and Luke! A lot of these made me smile, considering where these guys and gals are in comics right now!) so I would love to see them (and Ororo and Logan, damn!) get their happy endings... Well, heck, I just want Ororo and Logan to be unrepentantly happy, too.

Of all the amazing chapters so far, this is by far my favorite. They finally get to be together again and I get all the RoLo goodness I could ask for. Wonderful, well worth the wait and well written.

When I first found the realm I was delighted to come across your work. I am now rereading some of the amazing fics that I found and I have to tell you I absolutely love this one. The RoLo you have depicted here is truly remarkable.

I told my Logan that I had not left a review to this story (totally just too shy at the time when I first read it to even attempt a review) and he gave me a look saying was I crazy. Need to let you know this is another phenomenal piece of work. Please update soon. A A

Author's Response: Hi, Angel. Thanks for visiting my story again, sorry it's woefully unfinished. I have ideas in mind for it, but I keep getting backlogged in other projects. In real life, I have a family, full-time job, and a painting/sewing hobby that every once in a while gets me commissions. Take care.

Author's Response: I know, I know, I know! I'm bad about updates. I've been focusing on work, kids and art for the past few months. Glad you like the story, thanks for visiting.
