ok, first off, that's one of my favorite songs. an oldie but goodie.

The mood of the chapter was well set by the song, I will definitely say that.

I was thrown by this:

There was no love in this act.

My first thought was, wait a minute, he just faked death with her to be with her, with no outside interference. Who would do that for someone who didn't love her? And why then wouldn't mating involve some of that love?

BUT, that doesn't hinder my enjoyment of the story. Not one bit. I had fun reading this with the simple line structure, you didn't describe the crap out of it or over-detail the exposition. Although in some ways, on some level, it tickles me that right after faking their death and climbing out of the wreckage, they head to a motel for a quickie.

Guess that's just me. But I enjoyed this. One little nitpick, change "road" to "rode" in one of your sentences, do a Word search.

Author's Response: 1) There was no love in this act. I say that because they were both off their rockers. The adrenaline rush seriously got to them. (the next chapter is in the morning when they're more calm nowTHAT will be full of the Ro/Lo love) 2) The quickie thing ;D She'd been plannig this for a while. The motel was 2nd on her checklist of places to go after faking her death. They just ended up gettin it on. 3) How do I do a wordsearch? :C I'm so computer slow sometimes.

Wow. Just...wow.

I like it, because it's different, and it has the feel of "poetic prose," something I discussed with Darlene this week, too. Odd homage to "Thelma and Louise," to a degree. Especially if Logan is the one in the passenger seat, surely he's not okay with potentially living through the death of the woman he loves? If his healing factor isn't working, then I'm okay with this. Kind of.

You were planning to add on to this? What did you have in mind?

Author's Response: I'm adding on a chapter because they've faked their death. ;D It'll be another song-fic (with multiple shrt parts)

Wow. That was totally unexpected. I never did think that
Ro would do something like that:

Author's Response: Well when shit has been happening to you for your whole life I'd think one day you'd just snap and do some craaaaaaaazy shit. There's is more to come. Stay Tuned ;D
