*fights upcoming tears to write a good (and earned) reaview* I was deeply moved by your story
The development Logan undergoes here is really nice. But it is rather him dealing with his feelings of loss, pain and love than a Rolo. I mean, that could be at Mariko's grave as well. I still think it's a great fic and sooo touching.

Author's Response: Thanks Jeanniebird, I'm glad it touched you. I get choked up readin' it too, this is one that was written for a personal reason and I used the "muse" to get it out. That was a long time ago... I never thought of it as anything but RoLo but you're right, it could be envisioned as anyone he loved being mourned. Thanks for reading my older stories *grins* - W6C

God, I loved this. You captured the deep passionate nature of him and let him weep without making it appear demeaning or undignified. Great Job!

Author's Response: Thank you very much. I'm glad that it touched you an' showed Logan exactly the way I'd hoped. --- W6C

What can I say? you...you...you made me cry! So short and so full of love. It's pure poetry. I've read it many times aloud and...sometimes I can't even continue reading. But it's worth the tears. Thank you for this wonderful work. Man, you have magic in your pen!

Author's Response: Thank you very much, Ororo... I'm the same way readin' it actually. It's a tough one. Glad it touches you. --- W6C

Like d it? Too mild, it's damning with faint praise. This is art, the purest and most direct of literary arts. This, our friend and brother, is poetry. Pure. Direct. Heart to heart, no intermediaries. Your pain is ours, your lifeblood is lifegiving. In grieving there is beauty that transcends the pain and makes it a jewel to enlighten the night of th e heart. Your warrior's heart has fired our grieving hearts. You r simple hard pure words show us the way. Thank you

Author's Response: Thank you my brothers. What else can I possibly say? Your words of praise are poetry themselves, I'm speechless. Love you --- W6C

GASPS....Oh Goddess, you've gone and made me cry:( My poor Wolverine..sniff. I have told you this I'm sure you have a way of making your stories seem real, on some level I think we all can relate to them and that makes them so enjoyable. You have a gift, you are a gift, thank you for sharing and just being you;)

Author's Response: Didn' t mean to make you cry :( But I cried writin' it. If I lost my girl this is exactly the way I would be too. You are a gift also, my good dear friend. Love --- Wolvie
