Ah! Well, I'm back from vacation where I had a chance to read your story without interruptions. I'm glad I waited. And hey, you're very welcome I'm glad a few urgings of mine helped get this chapter up!

Now here's what I thought: the tension in the story was so thick, as if you could reach out and actually experience it. I felt torn here, partially wanting David to show he had some balls despite knowing he'd lose said balls if he did so, I liked how he ended up trying at least, and then with Logan going nuts I kept wondering what was N'dare going to go back home with. It was a fascinating read. I especially enjoyed the ending where we had some Ororo and Logan time, very nice. Now I need that promised update though - hint, hint. ;D

Very lyrically written. I like the flow but at the moment ...yup confused.

Author's Response: Heh. Thank you for letting me know. I know there's a lot going on, and from many of the comments, I get a sense that many people are confused. I know I was being intentionally vague in the very beginning, but now I'm wondering if I'm doing this all wrong. And evident;y the two days didn't happen and the next chapter got too long so hopefully in two chapters this will all be clear. I look forward to getting your thoughts then.

The moment when Ororo was listening to David telling her that he didn't trust her just walking off with Logan, accusing him of coming unhinged and hurting her. Her momentary reaction when she and Logan met eyes and suddenly wouldn't look at each other. THAT was tension, and great tension at that. There were other moments in this that moved me in that direction, too, but that was the one that struck me most noticeably. Is that helpful? :-)

Author's Response: Heh. Thanks. Everything plays in your head so much that you tend to forget where you wanted certain things to come across. Stupid head. Though, OC, I believe you will become very disappointed in me by the next chapter. There have been veiled hints throughout everything that's actually very weird for me to write. Yes, weird even for RoLo.

Man. It's not often I use the words "painful" and "beautiful" in the same sentence, but here it fits. It hurts so much to see two people who love each other fall apart, but the way you flesh out the circumstances, you know its inevitable, it has to happen. Ororo finding the blood in the laundry gave me chills. Excellent, excellent work.

wow...exceptional piece of writing. This has to be the first and only Storm and Wolverine story that I have ever seen with so much emotion, but even that word feels lacking some how....

The passion behind both individuals, and then also their comraderie and the companionship....there is nothing facetious here, there is no loss...there just is..and what it is, is awe inspiring.

Really the best chapter, possibly the greatest Ro/Lo fic ever created!

I shall be reviewing for the next pieces.

I haven't even read this yet. And I can't read it tonight because I have to be to work early tomorrow morning, but I just wanted to say, "Hooray." I'm happy to see you are sticking with this story. Oh, my dear, dear NemesisBecoming! You are so incredibly good! I was just thinking about your story last week too wondering if you'd abandoned it and us and here, after over a year you've updated! Now, the wonderful thing about that is your story is so exceptionally good all I did was curse MYSELF because I couldn't get into fanfiction today when I got my author's alert! So after work I rushed home pulled up the Realm and - ah, bliss! Just reading those short sharp sentences feeling the excitement, the need that Logan was feeling was so powerful! It's like you took us on a whirlwind ride right along side of Logan. I could almost feel the wind hitting me in the face as we rushed home to the “beloved”. Wonderful, wonderful. So there I am thinking of every exclamation I can thing of as I experience Logan’s rage! And who would have ever thought to describe Logan's berserker rage as the red brick mental wall! Genius, your way with words - so captivating. Captain Misplaced Confidence - both hilarious and sad because it's true, he had no idea who he was messing with. The folly of Mother Nature - I have never heard such an intriguing and apt description of mutants. Brilliant. And the ending! Ach! You definitely know how to leave us hanging. But this chapter was incredible and nice and long and at least we have a chapter. It's still not enough! Don't get me wrong, it's very much appreciated, like an unexpected gift but I'm left gasping almost out of breath which such revelations and I need more! The beloved, who’d thunk! And finally I want to know where have you been with your winding, luring words that are almost like lyrics, so potent and addictive? And let me tell you missy – do not desert us again for so long! I'm greedy and want more of your priceless gifts! Can you tell this chapter made me happy? ;D
