Lets see, I always hate these things because I never know what to write.

Hmmm, well I'm new to the fandom, but not new to fanfics and writing. The link on my profile page has one of my fanfiction.net accounts, if anyone wants to see some of the previous stories I've written.

I have somewhat of a love affair with words. I love certain phrases or lines in description that for that amount of time seem to invoke the perfect combination of feeling and creativity for that scene. So if anyone ever receives a review from me about a line that i particularly liked or caught my attention, please know that's one of the highest compliments i can give you.

Moving away from the writing aspect, I've been an on and off again fan of X-Men since before the 90's cartoon time. Always been a fan of Wolverine, my love of Storm stemmed more from the release of the last movie more than anything else not to mention the idea of those two getting together.

Now that I'm more aware of how deeply rooted for a time those two were in the comic, I can honestly say I can share the pain most of you felt when she was paired off with Black Panther.

Granted, I still think in the back of my mind, when they finished all the exploiting storylines they can muster, she'll be written back with the X-Men with some sort of excuse explaining the ordeal and everything will be back to normal.

In the meantime we all must settle for fanfiction!

Ok, I'm going to say this first. Echo, I've been reading quite a few of your stories. I've been enjoying them a lot and I think you have a lot of talent as a writer.

But I have to say this for the love of god, please stop using w/ and & in place of the actual words. It is nothing worst for me when i'm sitting enjoying a chapter but then i cringe when i see w/ in a sentence.

w/ is not a word. Its a short-hand statement that's in messages and texting. It has no place in any body of work.

Also & should only be used with placing two names together making them a pair or a couple. Such as Batman & Robin. Or Cloak & Dagger. It does not replace and in a sentence because because once again its not an actual word.

Thought I'd might suggest a good father passing away song

"Dance with my Father" by Luther Vandross

I just listened to it and i have to say, I think it would be a perfect theme for the funeral .

Summary: Logan and Ororo have been close friends for a long time. Suddenly, one day Logan really sees her for the first time. Read on for a few surpises, some very unLoganlike behavior, some twists, a little romance and maybe even a tragedy or two.

Its funny i was thinking about this.

Next chapter could go like this.

The blackbird could touches down safely back at the Xavier school. The little ramp door from the plane comes down. Everyone ones all relaxed and everything, for a job well done and glad to be back. Then Maria looks around and says, "Hey, where's Logan?"

Scene changes to inside the Mansion. Forge is wandering around the house aimlessly totally unaware.

Then suddenly he's struck by 300 pound ball of adamantium claws and fury.

Wolverine shouts, "BERSERKER BARRAGE!!!!"

And then the carnage begins....

Hehehehehe.... *^^* Sorry I had a lot of sugar. Cool chapy btw.

Author's Response: When I first read this review, my mailbox was acting up and it didn't load all of it, the email simply ended at Rogue asking where Logan was. I laughed so hard at the idea of them leaving him behind I nearly peed my pants. And don't worry about the sugar, totally understandable.

Ok, let me be the first to say, "It's about gosh dang time!" I got seven chapters of my own story in since the last time you updated. ^^

But yea glad to see you back and glad to see the story is up and running again. I'm a bit surprised on the amount of restraint Logan had with the whole ordeal. I loved seeing the turnabout with Scott though, that was refreshing in itself.

Now one more chapter to go!

Author's Response: Like I said, life marched all over me and the swelling only recently left me, lol! But I'm nearly done with the last one so it'll be soon, I promise!

Summary: After rescuing Logan from a Weapon X facility, where he had been held for nearly six weeks, the X-Men have noticed a vast change in his behavior. Reverting back to the isolationist he was when they first brought him on the team, he has kept to himself. He won’t talk about what happened at the facility, and not only does he no longer make passes at Jean anymore, he seems extremely uncomfortable when any form of affection is shown, to him, or anyone else on the team. They try to help him through his trauma.

Ok, I need you to do me and everyone else a favor. FINISH THIS STORY! I have never read such a well thought out depiction of Logan's character as this. It has so many various degrees of the human condition that its almost one part fiction one part science lesson. And its a shame its not finished.

Author's Response: It is indeed a shame that I've been stalled quite often in my attempts to bring this saga to a close. However, I have no dismissed this story, it's taken many years to get this far. I do have 10 pages of Chapter 30 drafted out and now I simply need the time and focus to put it in coherent order. I thank you very much for your wonderful review. Your words help to spur the muse and I appreciate the time you took to send me feedback. I assure you though that this story will see completion..... eventually. *grin* Thanks again - W6C

Summary: Summary: Alternate universe. Romance for romance’s sake, no Sentinels, Brotherhood, or current continuity, but the characters are still Marvel’s. The quotes are from Hans Christian Andersen. I’ll be delving back into 616 Universe once I consult my back issues, I promise. In the meantime, sorry if I’m boring the crap out of anyone.

I read this story before but i didn't leave any comment, but i after reading this again I feel the need to anyway. I really love your AU stories. I also find that outside of Logan and Ororo's characters there are always at least one secondary character that I just love.

Amelia was in "Never Been One for Wine and Roses"
Scott was the "MAN" in "Money Dance"

In this story I have to say Jubilee. Her developing relationship with Ororo was somewhat of the second relationship i was paying attention to in this story. My favorite line from her was in this chapter. When she told the nurse at the admission desk “She’s my mom.” I was so incredibly touched, because it showed how much Ororo became a part of that girl's life and how close knit the two of them became.

I have to say your batting a thousand with these AU stories. Makes me wish you had "Getaway" finished and a few others.

No pressure, because I know how tough it is when you have dozens of ideas you want to get to. But only 24hours in a day to actually do something about it. Can't wait to see more, hon!

Author's Response: I know you can relate to having a lot of ideas to get to in one day! Your story is absolutely fantastic and so entertaining. Getaway is still in my plate, even if it is just the edge of the plate. Rubbing Me the Wrong Way was my first AU fic, and I didn't want to mess it up. Jubes was fun to write. I love writing teens. I'm so glad you're enjoying my stories. I love the detailed replies.

Summary: Ororo Munroe has the weight of the world on her dainty shoulders, and would do anything for the people she loves. James Howlett wants to show her how to take a load off, and show her that love is a two-way street. Alternate universe, no powers. These are Marvel’s characters, but by the time I’m finished with them, they will only bear a scant resemblance.

Wow, all I can say is Wow. I like this story because it wasn't melodramatic and it wasn't angst but it stayed very real. It kinda gave me a feeling of when i saw "Soul Food" that family united feel that it gets to it. And coming from a black man's perspective I can recognize a lot of the issues that was dealt with Ororo's mom's initial problems with Logan, I see it all the time. Of course it doesn't always end as pleasantly but its something to be hopeful for.

I also wanted to note that I loved Amelia's character. There are so many older women at my job that act just like her, that I could actually picture her in my mind.

Thanks again for writing such a wonderful story.

Author's Response: I love detailed feedback like this, especially when it holds such nice praise. But thank you. I've been there on both ends of it and I have an interracial marriage. My dad was the one who occasionally complained about my choices, but not as vocally or with as much objection as 'Ro's mom. But the scenes at Thanksgiving could have been my own family's. It's a mess!!! And there are always women at work like that. They're fun to write. Thanks so much for reading and visiting. I love getting male insight for some of my stories. I talk to Chet and Sinjin about them all the time. Good talking to you.

Update please! I truly love this story it does a nice touch off from the 3rd movie, almost to the point where it seems it could pick up right after it.

Summary: How do you bring together two people who have been there, done that, have seen it all, and decided “No, thank you?” Show them that they don’t know everything they think they know. RoLo, alternate verse. If you’re looking for claws and lightning bolts, look elsewhere.

CeeCee,

You need to be given an award. I've been reading fanfics for a little over eight years now.
This was the first story that ever made me say out loud,
"THAT BITCH!"
90210, Guiding Light and the Young and the Restless have nothing on this story. ^^

Author's Response: That's a wonderful compliment. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I like writing AU while still bringing in some of the character's original traits and other bits and pieces that make you recognize who they're based on. Ali still sings. Jean and Ororo are best friends. And more on a silly note, Cain is still Ali's "best fan" like he was in Uncanny for one issue. Remy is still a flirt. I love your reaction to Jean!!! I had fun writing the scenes where Ororo began piecing it all together, particularly the slap at the party. Some of my stories are a little soapy, I will admit. Catfights, girl talk...those are tools I abuse to death.

“I’m not finished.”

This was my favorite line from this chapter. It is so blunt and curt that i love it. One single told two people in that room that Scott is awake now and getting pissed.

LOL!
I swear I know a lot of stories portray him as stick up the bum, asshole. But I love Scott someone has to be the up front nice guy, because so many people want to be otherwise.

Author's Response: I'm not even the biggest Scott fan, it depends on which creators at Marvel write him. I thought Grant Morrison actually made him into a selfish jerk, which initially annoyed me, but it made him a lot more interesting. When Claremont wrote him, he was too passive about Jean occasionally being attracted to other men. I wanted to vindicate him here. It was almost like having him say "oh, hell no, not in MY house!" Glad you liked him.

OK, I like this story. I like this because it takes the Ultimate-verse asshole of Wolverine and slowly makes him into a good man and devote partner to Storm. And I like the way he was reluctant to leave when the opportunity for the mission arose.

I'm really looking forward to you finishing this story.

Always liked this story, meant to review it too. It's good way to tie in the birthday tradition Logan has with Sabertooth and make something good out of it in the end.

"Imagine someone pourin’ the fire of the sun straight into yer veins."

I really love this phrase. It was an amazingly put together metaphor for the experience Logan was describing. I'm sorry, I have a thing about certain phrases and words. And descriptive lines are one of my vices. ^^

In fact that whole exchange between Logan and Ororo was so masterfully done, I have nothing but praise for you.

Author's Response: hey, don't apologize, I get stuck on phrases that I read of other people's! I can quote Windy and Gainee's fics back to them verbatim because they come up with such great, great lines. I'm so glad you liked this! Thanks for the review.
