And?
Please do not leave us hanging for long.

Author's Response: Their conversation was much needed and definitely warranted another chapter. I promise I won't leave it like that. I appreciate your anxiousness! Thanks so much for reading. :)

Author's Response: Haha, thank you so much. Don't worry, I wouldn't end it there. That's just cruel. So glad you're enjoying it. :)

What a cliffhanger ending!!! I can't wait to read of Logan's reaction to this. I wonder what will happen to Storm? Will she go the paralyzed route or just the standard gun shot and she comes away fit as a fiddle. Can't wait for the next update.

Author's Response: I usually hate ending on a cliffhanger and truth be told, my computer kind of crashed recently, so I can't get the last six chapters I wrote off my hard drive. :( Yeah, sucks. I'm trying to recover them as soon as possible and then post here but until then you can at least read it on fanfiction.net under the same author and story name.

No! No! You can't leave us here. I'm on the edge of my seat here. Lol! What a great chapter. Excellent work. I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Author's Response: Yay! Thanks! And also, SUPER sorry that I haven't updated in a while. To be honest, my computer crashed and I currently don't have the last six chapters that I wrote. :( I know, I'm crazy upset. But until I recover them you can read it at fanfiction.net. I have it all posted there under the same author and story name. I'll post here as soon as I can.

OMG I hope they all make it out alive! I don't know how Ororo would feel if she lost any of them.

Yeah! No more prideful stubbornness! They both admitted what was there between them. Now let's hope the mission is successful so they can work this out.

Oh! I forgot you were uploading this here too. Nice surprise to see it on top of the Recent list, so I went and reread this latest chapter again. Gah. Glass case of emotion, etc etc...

I hate them both in this, though. They're both being stubborn in their own ways! Both have sound reasons for doing what they do, and flaws in their rationalizations of things. They really do need to be thrown into a room and locked in there so they can, ahem, work things out. Like... adults. Yup.

Author's Response: Heehee, I always love hearing from you. I'm trying to catch up here with my chapters from FF.net. And I kind of agree, this is one of the chapters where I want to shake them myself, but they're human and they're flawed and there's a bit too much pride between the two of them for this to end amicably. But they make up for it soon anyway.

I gotta agree with Logan on this one. Storm was a coward. She was too afraid to put herself out there with Logan even though everything in her called out to her telling her that this man, this relationship, was real and natural. She didn't listen to her goddess or nature which surprised me. She gave yet another excuse and just let him walk away. I kinda find it ironic that as headmistress she is teaching the kids to be ready for what the world has to offer but when the world offers her something she is too afraid to take it. I hope Hank finds outs and gives Ororo the kick in the pants she needs before this thing with General Sharp gets too bad but, on the other hand sometimes situations like this make your vision clearer about what's really important.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing. I really appreciate your thoughts on this. I kind of wanted to kick Ororo for this but in my mind, this was how they played out, mostly because she's under so much pressure that escapism is the easiest thing. And sometimes, these characters don't always choose the right paths. But conflict is what makes a story interesting right? So everything will come together.

I'm glad Logan is pushing Ororo to recognize truths that she would easily try to bury.

Author's Response: Thank you! Logan had to put his foot down on this one. Let's see how she reacts...

I think those two positions would be perfect for Logan. I understand Hank's concerns though. Logan will have to keep his language and anger in check since he will be molding young minds.

I do appreciate Logan saying good-bye to Jean to make room for others in his heart. I'm curious as to Ororo's feelings towards Logan now they are attempting to build this bridge of understanding.

Author's Response: Yeah, he may have to do a trial run before Ororo feels completely secure handing the children over to him, haha. And I definitely needed to doa scene with Logan letting go of Jean, since this is movieverse and they built that up a certain way. It was tricky but good to know you liked it.

What a wonderful conversation between the two. Even if they didn't see eye to eye on hate, I liked that Logan got a little more insight on Ororo's actual nature and not his preconceived notion of her.

Author's Response: Thanks! I kind of took a lot of liberty with this snippet from her past so I'm glad it worked out.
