Oh I didn't pick up the reference to Yukio... but that would coincide with their friendship in Ultimate XMen. Very good :) Looking back now I see how I misread that. I do remember Vi during the Christmas episode. Too bad they didn't do a little more with her since Spike was involved at the school.
*snarls* lol Yes I did get the reference to T'Challa, I read quickly through that part lolol.
So yes, big Evo fan here, I own all the episodes... did anyone else notice that the DVD set is missing ONE episode? The one where Kurt brings Logan into the other dimension with him. Yeah, one of my favorites too.
Author's Response: I'm gonna do a bit of shameless plugging here and direct you over to my FFnet page (I'm lychee loving there) since I have a few (a lot) more Evo work there. Not all of it RoLo as a couple, but they're usually my main characters. I have one WIP about how Ororo's childhood would be different in Evo since she'd have been on the streets of Cairo with an older sister. :)

Oh, and what'dya mean "Evolution is all you're good for"? What's wrong with Evolution? It's my favorite of all the cartoons. I LIKE Evolution stories better than I like movie verse so keep writing. I don't get a whole lot of time to indulge in other people's work so I love it when I get a few moments and find one that grabs me. This grabbed me.
Can't I convince you to give us more? I want to hear more about Vi's talented tongue and I bet Logan does too. *grins*

Author's Response: Oh wow, Evolution fans are so rare, I'm so happy you're one of us, W6C!! You keep giving me new reasons to love you. I love Evo. My early childhood belonged to the 90's series, but my preteen/teen years were all about Evo, so it made a more lasting impression and remains my favorite to this day, haters to the left. I'm so glad you liked this and that it "grabbed" you! S-such high praise :')
Also, Vivian was Storm's older sister in Evolution haha The "wild card" from college was a supposedly subtle reference to Yukio as a past lover of Ororo's back in her ~wild college days~ (and the one before that was T'Challa as her first love from her days on the Serengeti and stuff.)
And now I'm actually tempted to do more :( You're all enablers, the lot of you.
