This was a sad ending because Ororo is not physically with Logan and her family. But it is a sort of happy sadness because she does not completely leave Logan, who would have been truly devastated if she had.
Great storytelling. There was joy, anger, tears, sadness, every emotion. I think I would have preferred the "sappy-happy" ending, only because I usually like happy endings. But upon reflection, this ending was actually pretty good too.

Author's Response: Well, I had planned on making this a 'sad' one so that it would offset the 'happy' one, but you gotta agree this isn't quite sad enough. Still, if there are enough reviews (asking) for it....I'll do the happy one too.

All right. Now we're talking. This is what kind of ending I was hoping to see, once you revealed in earlier chapters that she was dying. Not sappy, just poignant. I was hoping she would linger with Logan somehow. Kinda like Jean's holempathic crystal that she made for Rachel in the mainline comics. I loved this. Thanks for updating it on such a great note.
Author's Response: Thanks Cee. Although this one is/was my 'sad' ending, it wasn't just quite that. And for a happy one, it would have to be a little sappy (atleast the way I think/write). And Ororo does linger within Logan....and that too without powers such as Rogue.

Hey...wow...very powerful..damn I cried. I mean it's more realistic to me that Ororo does die at the end, but you know those happy endings.
The entire chapter from paragraph to paragraph to paragraph it just grew progressively more depressing. I'm unsure if it needs an epilogue at all. I mean I think you already have a story that actually ends with Ro coming back to take Logan with her---including Kendall.
I say you leave it alone...or you have 'Ro coming back ala Jean Grey! :D All around great finale.

Hi BW *waves* long time no read.
Anyway I've been wondering what happened after this story became "Marie" infected so i thought this was a good place to jump back into it. Though I must admit I'm confused as hell and I might have to read back to find out when his daughter was born and what happened to him and all that.
Author's Response: I think you got this story confused with 'Survival'. Marie's presence in this story is very small compared to that one. If anyone, its Jubilee who gets the most screen time (apart from RoLo n' family)
