Finally had a chance to catch up with this story! I printed it out and just finished reading.
Wow, what an ending... I never thought he'd actually do it and kill her. She hurt him. A lot. More than his worst enemy ever could. But... whoa... he killed her. He still loved her, and it hurt. He was probably hoping to finally put and end to it, maybe he even wanted to save others from this kind of pain. It was an ugly game she played with his emotions. Both men's emotions actually, since the other guy loved her... *shudders* I feel for them both, Logan and that guy, I mean. And you never revealed who that mystery guy was, ahhh! *pulls at hair* LOL ;D

Reading this last chapter was almost a physical experience for me. You made me see and feel, physically and emotionally, as if some silky fabric was being teased along my skin or a feather light sheer curtain was blowing on a breeze from an open window nearby. Your descriptions were that emphatic, just so beautifully rendered – panties thrown into the gapping mouth of the shadows simply lovely.

I just love, love, love this story. It may be my all time favorite of yours now. I love that that we could each guess who the other lover was and of course the last one – shiver! I can see why Logan did what he did in the end with her ending up with him. Simply superbly and incredibly well done!

I am truly alarmed to find I didn't review this here. I read it over at ff.net and know I reviewed there, how this slipped by I've no idea. But I love this story, it's so completely different so I'm utterly delighted to see you've updated!

wow. well worth the long wait for this one and my constant begging for a update. kinda ended like i thought it would with logan have a broken heart and storm acting non-chalent even through she loved him. logan's love must have been to strong for her, too much truth in it and it seems she likes to hide and runaway from the emotions. not telling us is good because i know who i want it to be and now it can be, but what about logan will he survive this?

I don't know what to say... but this is really deep. The clue too this mystery lover is very in the story. Am I right?" After I read it all I figurerd out who he was.
But i won't give it away. My thoughts after what Logan did to Ororo is if I can't have you no other man will. I Loved the whole supense of this story. Keep up the good work, write more soon.

For the first time ever in my life I don't know what to say. Your writing was tight as usual, but I don't know how to react. Wow.

At work. Thought I'd drop you a review while I had some free time. Did she bring out the worst in him or what? Speaking from experience as guy who has rather stormy relationships, it's funny how someone who means so much to you can bring out these different sides of your character. You started the story showing how Logan felt he couldn't hurt her, but then things just began to deteriorate until he felt he had no choice. I'm assuming, anyway. Because wow that final confrontation shows that he did let this eat away at him. That's the scary part about letting someone become so much a part of you that they might as well be encoded in your DNA. You do things you think you'd never do in the name of love. And I think you showed that well in this story. It was a mind fuck.

Wow. This story is...one of the best ROLO stories ever. Because it's not ROLO. Not really. However i find the ending rather unfit. Not because you didn't tell us who the mystery lover was (would be nice to hear who you had in mind if you reply to this), but because i don't believe Logan would have killed Roro. I understand their first confrontation. But i don't think he would track her down and kill her. I can't explain why. Maybe it's because i've always thought Roro brings out Logan's best side (even after her betrayal) and that Logan brings out her naughty side, much more than anyone else ever could. Would love to know who you had in mind for the mystery lover (please, please, pretty please with sugar on top?).

I died. I died nine million times over. I'm still dying. This story was such an elaborate, painful mind game. The title fit well because from beginning to end you left me wondering, left me asking and left me pondering. It really was this intricate game orchestrated by Storm. To see her break Logan down like it was nothing just made me hurt for him, and to some extent, hurt for her because she's the misguided one. Logan's love for her is strong and true while she obviously felt she was missing something to have an affair. I felt sorry for this other lover, too, because he has the feelings for her. I felt like he harboured some illusion that she'd leave Logan for him. I think he felt that he was worthy of her attention and love when she was only satisfying fleshly whims. I wish I could I felt sorry for her, but I can't. I feel worse for the people she deceived, hurt and forgot about.

Shit.

I don't even know what to say about this ending, because I don't know what to feel yet.

I'm just so glad on the one hand that Logan doesn't have to suffer while she dangles him anymore, and that she doesn't get to run off blithely anymore to hurt anyone else, live selfishly, and abandon all accountability, but damn...

Her current, faceless lover trying to rub away the scars Logan caused was such a great metaphor. Ororo was trying to rub them away, too, when you think about it. Her convenient little "hate me. Call me names" speech was shocking and VERY much in character for who she was in this story. Somewhere along the way, she forgot that Logan is a guy who can only heal on the outside, not the inside, and that he would never get over her.

Wow. The song references were great, as usual. And as much as I was dying to know who Mr. Lover Man was in the previous chapters, it was such a bonus that this started with a lie, and ended with another. Funny how her throwaway lover in this last bit physically resembled Logan, and acted like a shadow of him, minus the conscience!

Still defiant to the end. Congrats on finishing. I'll throw you a digital party. Tragic. I didn't see this having much of a happy ending for anyone. And it didn't. It's fitting because it was just a big mess. No fair. You didn't tell. I understand though. You have to do what you have to do as the writer.

Well... shit. Seriously that's all I can say. I love Storm to death, but she had that one coming. My heart went crack when I read this: “Ya might fall in love with someone today, an’ ya might fall in love with someone else t’morrow, but everybody ain’t that easy. I’ll always love you, just you.” Talk about powerful. Such a tragic ending. Even though you reference 6 Underground. This is Post-Modern Sleaze definitely by the feel. I can see Ororo using some of the same expressions that Kelli used in that video especially that last half-tearful half-whatever look she had toward the end. I can't believe it's over.

I stumbled upon this story and I'm glad I did. Great emotional story, Digital Tempest.

I can't believe that I'm getting ready to type this, but I hope this doesn't have a happy ending. I dont want Logan to eat shit politely with a knife and fork because Ororo dished it out. No pretty tears, no 'I'm sorry's', no love can conquer all bs. What Ororo did was some cold-hearted crap. It wasn't a one time thing and she knew what she was doing.

I think Logan needs to give her exactly what she wants and obviously that isn't him.

My heart literally ached for Logan.

Post more soon. Dying to know who Storm is *ucking on the side.

I really admire your writing style, it's very good. You can just feel Logan's pain. Poor guy...
And the mystery man? Somehow my mind wants to make me believe it's Alex... but I have no clue why...
