I love a**hole characters that make me want to jump into the story and beat the crap out of them. Boy does Tchalla make me want to do just that !
I liked the lil bit of Ali's backstory and of course I always love the Ali & Scott scenes : )
Author's Response: I might have to jump in there and help you with the beating! Reiko created him in this story to be a jerk, and we're having fun with it. Reiko also hinted at Ali having a "past." There will be more Ali and Scott soon.

Good for Ali that she let him go to sort himself out. No matter how true the love, rebounding is tough. Speaking of tough...ugh! What a situation to be in for Ororo. Her ex and in-law from hell and Logan swanning off. Oh! What's a girl to do! Good chapter. :)

Cee that was such a depressing chapter.... Logan and 'Ro... T'Challa and his mother still being alive and thinking they can controll everything... Scott and Ali... *sniff* so depressing....
But I suppose that the custody battles Logan and Ororo will be going through might be able to push them both back together for support... And Scott might just forgive Logan since Jean is still cheating on Scott and he has feelings to Ali anyway.
I hope that since Luke wants to stay with Ororo will help her case (plus all the other crap T'Challa and his mother have been up to) and Laura does want to stay with Logan right? So that should help his case... And maybe with them both winning their custody cases they can get together and celebrate? *looks hopeful*
Author's Response: awww, it wasn't that depressing! 'Ro got to cuss out her former in-laws! That's always kinda fun to write! Yes, Laura wants very much to stay with Logan, since she's daddy's girl and they're two of a kind. Scott has a long way to go with forgiving Logan, but he and 'Ro will also be a source of strength for each other. This will get better!

I think Tiger is right, something mysteriously bad needs to happen to T'Challa and his mother. Like a random anvil attack, or getting the crap kicked out of them by bunnies.
Lol @ the insults you chucked at Jean. Ha ha! I know alot of people are always like, "but Jean's a good person why does everyone hate her," last time I checked good people appreciate other good people. I always hated the way Jean's actions with Logan/Warren (back in the day)/Xavier had NO consequences in the comics. And Scott was left looking like an anal douchebag for taking it all in stride. WTF! But, thanks for giving this alot of depth.

Author's Response: Scott used to annoy me at times (still does) in the old books, because he whined a lot when he wasn't taking charge, PLUS he was an adulterer! So Jean waffling back and forth didn't help their relationship, either. Now I'm waiting for the anvil to attack... *grin* You and that anvil!! Follow up with more Ali, definitely. And more of Luke and Laura, too. They got lost in the shuffle, somewhere...
