I hope you continue this story. And logan says what's needed to be said to ororo.

Oh my! I started reading "Something..." and at first I thought it was going to be something light and fluffy - but things are not as they seem, right?

I really love the depth you gave to all this characters... Please keep going, I still hope for a happy ending ;)

Author's Response: It's not that cut and dried. Back when I wrote this, I was inspired by windrider1's "Until It's Gone" story out here, and by my own muse nagging me that Ororo's wedding would be "conveniently" interrupted if Logan spoke up when the preacher asked if anyone in the church had any objections. But the problem was trying to write this in a way that wouldn't make people think "Damn, I've read this story before." The problem is, Logan doesn't have a clear enough reason why she shouldn't marry her old sweetie, since T'Challa has less baggage than he does, and he's been so noncommittal before, what with his frequent absences, and with Ororo always being there when he breaks up with his girlfriends, when they die, etc. She's been his consolation prize and "just one of the guys" too often for it to work in that context. That's why I'vebeen writing so many AUs with these two, since mainline comics are leaving me high and dry for inspiration. Thanks for the review, I appreciate it.

Author's Response: Man, I wish I could grant that wish, but I've grown so far apart from this story. I'm up in the air, because originally this was supposed to be the second part of a trilogy, Something Borrowed, Somthing Blue; The Best Man; and Or Forever Hold Your Peace. The third chapter was supposed to be the wedding, cheerfully interrupted, but with an angsty outcome. Problem is, I don't want people to end up hating the second story because its Logan basically stepping out of the way to let Ororo make up her mind and love who she loves. I know plenty of people would hate that ending to that piece of the story, so I've left it alone. Thanks for your feedback, though, I appreciate it.

S-E-Q-U-E-L! S-E-Q-U-E-L! S-E-Q-U-E-L! Because both stories were amazing! This was way better than what Marvel would ever write. Because Ororo is not made to be someone's queen. Seriously, do a sequel! Please! Pretty please! I loved this style written in Logan's POV. You could have a story alternating Logan's POV with Ororo's.

Author's Response: Logan will have one more chapter to air his thoughts. Me, I think that if Ororo were ever supposed to be a queen, her mother never would have married a journalist and moved to the states. Marvel never thinks about it like that. Ororo's point of view will come up in Hold Your Piece, my part three.

I still don't like him. Seems like an ass. But I am enjoying the story! Of course I would like it better if for some unknown reason T'Challa dropped dead and 'Ro ended up with Logan instead... hmm... maybe after the wedding he drops dead so 'Ro can still be queen... he doesn't have a fatal peanut allergy or anything does he... damn.
