I could see Ororo lurching from her bed and running blindly through the mansion to find this unknown source of her. I could see her horrified face as she fell down the stairs. I like how you give away just enough for it to be compelling but not enough to really "know" what's happening yet. I find that many people tell too much in the prologues or they write something that eventually becomes irrelevant to the story.

It's very telling that Logan was the one who woke up and was obviously listening for her footsteps. I also wonder how she feels about him being the last person to glimpse the last of the real Jean before she died, since it was Ororo's best friend. This pulled at me for reasons like those, and of course for Ororo being so responsive to crises. She's one bad mutha. I can't wait to see who sent out the SOS. Your dialogue is always great, but this time the narrative was a strong selling point.

Thank you. Thank you. Had it not been for my gentle prodding you wouldn't have posted this tonight. I combat laziness. Already reviewed this once at that other site, but what's another review. As long as you're updating something and appeasing your stalkers. Still don't have a whole lot to say because I have to wait and see what's going to happen. Don't make me wait too long though. You bring out the conspiracy theorist in me, though. I can see this playing out a million different ways, but in the end it will be nothing like I expected.
