I find that cartoon so hard watch sometimes and yet it can be so enjoyable, I mean I love their version of Forge and seeing Sammy the fish kid and Marrow and others I recognize is fun plus the accents are decent but Logan leading the X-Men while Scott and Ororo are there just doesn't make sense. He's never wanted to be a leader and I just don't buy it. The worse part is that Ororo barely speaks and is barely shown - grrr.

Well, rant aside your story reminded me of when she first joined up, that line where she tells Logan how it was to fly with someone. That line made the story for me because it brought back so many memories and made this seem more comic than cartoon. Also, I had no idea what that episode was about because the show appears very much out of order on Direct TV, another pet peeve of mine. I have yet to see the Storm episode, it didn't record once because of bad weather but still.

Author's Response: Darlin, I feel the exact same way! Oh, and don't worry about the ranting, I do it all the time! :D Yeah, I'm mad that Ororo only spoke in 10 episodes -_- There's always hoping for more Storm inclusion in S2...I just wish the episodes in the US would move along faster. The episode's name is "Guardian Angel," I just googled to watch it and I instantly got inspiration to write the one-shot, so that's how Solace came to be. Thanks for reviewing, Darlin!

This was really good. It's not this great big conflictive ball of angst, it's just two friends talking. Definitely feels like "Wolverine and the X-Menverse". It brings to mind the old days when Warren used to flirt with Ororo during Uncanny, or even when he had a crush on her for that exact reason during Ultimate.

Author's Response: Thanks, Cee. You're the first to review this, along with being the only person to review practically all my work (there are a few more, but I can't name them off the bat).
