Oh, I love it. Especially the end. This seems to take place shorty after they joined the X-Men (or not so short, considering that Kurt found out Logan's name after two years of the Marvel time had passed), doesn't it? Attracted to each other the momen they met, I definitely like that thought (damn you, Jean).
I read the story with the Shrek Hallelujah in the background which made the whole atmosphere of this even more intense. It's great!!

It's amazing how you manage to balance erotica with emotion. One would think this (and its prequel) would be peppered with purple prose, but instead you wow us with a fic that is so full of genuine feeling.

"Don't cry, Wolverine, somebody loves you." is enough to blow the air out of anyone's lungs, I think.

Amazing work. :)

Author's Response: Wow thanks very much, Marbles. I'm glad you found this story and that you enjoyed all the aspects of it. I think Ororo an' Logan would be a great dynamic together in any verse. I'm glad that came out in this. Thanks for taking the time to review. It's appreciated. - W6C

I'm just going back and re-reading things that I love this weekend, or discovering fics that I hadn't noticed before. I loved this, particularly Ororo's tenacity to get close to him. Earth Wind and Fire was great, anyway, but this really took the cake. The bit about the "purring" and the use of his real name had me giggling. More good work. Can't wait for more...hint, hint.

Author's Response: Aww, thanks CeeCee. I'm glad ya' liked this one, it's one o' my first an' one o' my favorites. I think they're just great together an' I love the passion I can just feel generated by this pairing. I'm glad you enjoyed it too. --- W6C

I can only wish i could wright like some of you can, i've read about forty of these storys by different author's and most i've liked some i did'nt. This one for example was a very good story, but some little things like Wolverine being mean, cruel, sadistic and crying. And having someone like Victor Creed being all nice, friendly, sweet that just wrong he might kill ya or terrorize you and torture you to death.

Author's Response: *grins* I'm not sure what yer tryin' to say... Wolverine wasn't mean, cruel or sadistic in this story an' he never will be in one o' my stories... he did cry, yes but he is human an' a lonely one at that. That's why he got a bit emotional when Ororo told him she loved him. As for Victor, well I could never see him as bein' extremely friendly an' definitely not sweet, but I do believe that he could be more three dimensional than most people give him credit for as the readers will soon see in one of my ongoing storylines. Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated. --- W6C

These are another one of your first fics I ever read when I started getting into Ro/Lo. Still a great passionate fic.

Another one of my absolute favs. This fic has it all. Apart from being completely hot and sensual. It is really touching. I laughed when he told her to call him Logan, and she asked him why and he responds 'What, ya think I was born with the name Wolverine'. And then my eyes wanted to fill up near the end when she says 'Don't cry Wolverine, somebody loves you'. You are totally in a class by yourself W6C.

Author's Response: Well, thank you, Neophyte. Your kind review has touched me deeply. I'm so glad you appreciate this story as much as I do. Thanks for your time. --- W6C
