Darn that Jean Grey! Why can't she mind her own business? I'm hoping deep down inside that the baby isn't Logan's. I would hate for him to have to deal with Jean for the rest of his life. Nina was adorable. Gotta love Selene and her meddling nature. Of course I'm happy that 'Ro and Logan are making small steps to get together. I wonder what other obstacles they'll have to face in the near future. Great update. :)
BTW, I have a severe case of writer's block on my fic. I'm trying desperately to get the dialogue together. Wish me luck! :)

Awesome update! Lilandra is insane, Nick made a horrible choice, Logan will go berserker crazy when he finds out what's going on and poor 'Ro. It's difficult seeing her in such a state. The pulling out of the hair and the bloody vomit made me cringe. Yikes! This story just keeps getting better! :)

If I haven't said this before, I'm saying it now. Your writing voice is spectacular. I love it. It's amazing how you weave your words together. They have an effortless flow. I get excited when I see you've updated or added a new story. I'm loving seeing Logan drown in his love for 'Ro. Ororo is definitely working him. I'm not sure if she's cheating on him yet, but I can't wait to find out!

Once again it was beautiful. I love Ororo's self-loathing. She should feel that way. She's woven a path of destruction that only she can make right. My mind is racing with who "the other" could be. It's gone from Gambit to Sabretooth to Cyclops. I'm in awe of your writing style. It is extremely intelligent and real. Brilliant! :)
Author's Response: Thanks! You're right. She should. One of my worries with this chapter was I didn't convey that guilt enough. I talked it over with my close writing friend, and she told me to just keep writing it out and see where it goes, that I might surprise myself. And I was a little concern even while editing that I hadn't done enough to show that she was guilty, but everyone else seems to think otherwise.
Summary: Two years ago, in a state of grief over the loss of Jean Grey, Logan made a mistake. That mistake led to Ororo Munroe's resignation from the X-Men. After Charles Xavier is hospitalized, she returns. She has changed, as has Logan. How far will a person go to protect their heart...To Survive?

I love this already. Logan's inner thoughts in the beginning were beautifully written. Ororo really should have fried him for what he said. What a fool he was. Can't wait to see her return. I hope Charles is okay. Looking forward to your next update.
