Wow! Logan was so harsh to Ororo and I can't understand why. I mean they both just had a great time kick'n butt in the danger room and then he flips a switch on her. All the progress they made gone in an instant all because of the memory of Jean. I'm so glad that Rogue called Logan out. Logan needs to man up and stop living in the past and realize that hurting Ororo is only hurting himself.

Author's Response: Yeah, Logan was a dick in this one, but I promise, Ororo kicks his ass for it in the next chapter. He's still got some bullshit going on and he's so stubborn he doesn't know how to let things go. Honestly, these characters have a mind of their own. I'm just along for the ride. But yeah, I don't know why but I loved the idea of Rogue calling Logan an asshole and calling him on his bullshit.

Just dropping by to say that this is one of my favorite chapters. The post Danger Room conversation remains one of my favorite exchanges between them (it's like watching Storm extend a laurel branch to Logan, and he just. turns it down like a jerk, whattt.) ALSO her explanation for the lightning bolts ("I do not *throw* lightning bolts...") is my favorite! I swear, I can hear her voice in that, so clearly.

And then, of course, the explosive exchange in the kitchen. You're such an excellent storyteller, goodness gracious.

Author's Response: You always make me smile, you know that? I think if no one else was reading I'd continue this story if only for you. Thanks as always for the reviews. Now if only I can actually produce some new writing. Thanks for the inspiration!
