Oh! I forgot you were uploading this here too. Nice surprise to see it on top of the Recent list, so I went and reread this latest chapter again. Gah. Glass case of emotion, etc etc...

I hate them both in this, though. They're both being stubborn in their own ways! Both have sound reasons for doing what they do, and flaws in their rationalizations of things. They really do need to be thrown into a room and locked in there so they can, ahem, work things out. Like... adults. Yup.

Author's Response: Heehee, I always love hearing from you. I'm trying to catch up here with my chapters from FF.net. And I kind of agree, this is one of the chapters where I want to shake them myself, but they're human and they're flawed and there's a bit too much pride between the two of them for this to end amicably. But they make up for it soon anyway.

I gotta agree with Logan on this one. Storm was a coward. She was too afraid to put herself out there with Logan even though everything in her called out to her telling her that this man, this relationship, was real and natural. She didn't listen to her goddess or nature which surprised me. She gave yet another excuse and just let him walk away. I kinda find it ironic that as headmistress she is teaching the kids to be ready for what the world has to offer but when the world offers her something she is too afraid to take it. I hope Hank finds outs and gives Ororo the kick in the pants she needs before this thing with General Sharp gets too bad but, on the other hand sometimes situations like this make your vision clearer about what's really important.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reviewing. I really appreciate your thoughts on this. I kind of wanted to kick Ororo for this but in my mind, this was how they played out, mostly because she's under so much pressure that escapism is the easiest thing. And sometimes, these characters don't always choose the right paths. But conflict is what makes a story interesting right? So everything will come together.
