HE TREATED HER LIKE A DOLL

sorry for the capslock haha. I came back to read this again, finally, because I remembered how much I liked it. (I also remember it hitting too close to home, which is why I hadn't come back to reread it after the first time)

I love this fic. It's drama that's relatable and intense without being hammy and soap operay. And though I'm on this site for RoLo, I'm really happy that their being a "couple" here takes a back seat.

Lovely lovely stuff. I miss your work!

I know how Storm feels. Been there done that, don't wanna go back. Great chapter, and thanks for finally revealing WHY she left.

Author's Response: Yeah, it's always sad when kids feel so strongly towards their parents. I'm sorry you had a similar experience- that's really tough hearing. Check out Kim Daul, she's the major inspiration for this story. And haha, I had to eventually.

Awwh I loved Ro's and Logan's date. I hope Jean and Scott will attempt to understand what she was going through.

Author's Response: Hahah! I'm glad you liked it. I thought it was cute. Hopefully they'll understand Ororo. THANKS FOR THE REVIEW

Oh, aw, Logan being protective is cute. At first I was like ?? Logan, being considerate and taking her out on an early morning date?? And then his quip about making it up in the car came up and I grinned. Stay classy, Logan.

That said, I can imagine Scott and Jean not taking this big reveal seriously (gosh I hope I'm wrong but at the same time that would make for great drama), since on face value it could seem like a shallow reason. But this is a curious chapter where I can actually claim being able to relate to Ro's experiences here. So I don't blame her.

Great job, as always!

Author's Response: Lol I had to break up all the bad with something good, otherwise this story would be too drama heavy. That being said, I like drama so their reactions to Ororo's answer can't be perfect. But yeah, I drew a lot of inspiration from Kim Daul (like, so much of the dialouge is her.) And I'm really sorry that you could relate but it's nice to know it's believable. THANKS FOR THIS AWESOME REVIEW
