I am so enthralled by this fic, interesting angle and I can't wait to see where you take it :-).

Very intriguing and quite well written. I love your stories because you write so well. It's truly as if we're witnessing the events taking place. I really like how Logan came to her rescue which should mess with Forge - the whole ordeal was splendidly and realistically done.

I suppose the only thing I didn't quite care for were the song lyrics which felt more like an interruption of an integral moment here but I know there are many who love the addition of the lyrics, and love song fics. I'm just not one of them and truthfully, as I can skip over them depending upon the nature of the story/chapter it takes nothing away from my enjoyment other than skipping down to the continuing story. Not trying to be picky. That aside, the story is superb and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

As for the lyrics, I only include them to drive home the point I'm making in the context of the story, and to give you guys a little insight into how the writing process goes for me. I think I mentioned before that I write to music, and so the rhythm of the song and the lyrics are important to me.

That said, I understand how you'd wanna just get to the meat and leave the superfluous gravy, lol. I've done the same on occasion in reading fanfics. I just hope I can still have a lyric or two & keep yer attention. Lemme know.

This story is very, very good, very, very different, and begging for answers to be spilled. I liked their encounter but now I'm wondering what's up with Forge and does she know he's spying on her?

Author's Response: Well, unfortunately Ro isn't aware of Forge's secret surveillence. Her crutch in relying on him for the drug has somewhat blinded her to his more nefarious behaviors. His struggle w/ control issues is one reason they didn't make it as a couple in this fic, so don't think our engineering genius is going to give up running aspects of her life so easily...
