These looked like typos, since my guess is that "hick" was supposed to be "thick." And "eyes" seems to be missing.

As for the next chapters, although things will move along a bit, they won't be hitting their teens...not just yet.

I wasn't too sure how this would work out, as even though for Logan I had something of a reading material in 'Origin', for Ororo, practically everything is made up. For anyone having read Origin, they should be able to identify with James immd....then again, things are NOT going to turn out the same way for either James (Logan) or Ororo.

I'm loving it..now you see?! that's cool. We're talking about a serious development in this chapter. Of course I like John, James' dad. Ro is adorable and so is Wolveie and they want to grow up and be my fave DC superheroes..the marvel writers would roll over...:D Great new chappie!
I actually can't wait till they grow up, at least be teenagers.

Author's Response: Glad you like it. With the angst-fest that is Y&T and the head-spinner that X-ed has become, I wanted to do a clean n' simple story. As for the angst in this, it will be there but not all that much. As for their becoming their fav DC heros, it was my way of getting Batman and Wonder Woman into a X-fic without an actual crossover.
Lets see when can I get the next chapter up. As for the base, its ready now.

Wow..this is an interesting beginning..starting off of course with them meeting as children and I'll assume that this is AU---no superheroness. So I'm liking this beginning, it's interesting. I had first thought that awful woman was shooing Ro away because of her skin colour...so it was a surprise to find out it was because Wolvie is pretty much the owners son.
Again great beginning, I can't wait until part 2.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review and the meeting as children was something I wanted to do for some time. As for the skin color point, it will come in the future, but seeing as that I am kinda starting this fic (kids' age) around late 70s, early 80s, and its in the Detroit-Windsor area, it will be written out differently than I would have written a New York or Africa based fic.
