I am truly alarmed to find I didn't review this here. I read it over at ff.net and know I reviewed there, how this slipped by I've no idea. But I love this story, it's so completely different so I'm utterly delighted to see you've updated!

I don't remember reviewing this today, but I sure read it. As always, I am TOTALLY jealous at your ability to dig deep into the characters' psyches and dig up all of the stuff that they would probably love to keep hidden. Me, I always try to dig deeper, but the sand keeps sliding back into the hole! Storm is definitely a girl behaving badly, and poor Logan is spending a lot of time making me pity him. The other song that this reminds me of is "S**t, Damn, Mother****er," by D'Angelo, particularly the lyrics "Why are you/bleeding so much, Why/Am I/Wearing handcuffs?" It feels like this story can only end in tragedy, physical or emotional or both. Which is actually kinda cool...can't wait for the update.

Author's Response: Don't be jealous! I just have too much time on my hands to make up lives for fictitious characters that I don't own. I like mindbenders. :) If anyone who should be jealous, it's me. Brava! In stories, it's usually Jean and Logan who are capable of cheating--assuming that Ororo is cheating. Since she was vague with her response, I think she is. It's a change. It makes me wonder what would cause her to cheat on Logan. I think people don't write about her cheating often because they don't like to write outside of that perfection persona she's actually become known for. Even though these are just comic book/movie/cartoon characters, you give them a different facet to their personalities making them realer. I enjoy your action stories (BP UPDATE! PLEASE!), but what really draws me to your stories is the way you're not afraid to explore, to put a character outside their element and pick them apart. And reading your stories doesn't make me feel like I've found my mom's romance stash--Odalisque being the exception, but that's good Harlequinization of the fandom. You've Harlequinized your fandom!

Author's Response: Like I've said one hundred times before, people always say, "I won't ever do this or do that" but in reality, you never know what you may do or what you're capable of. I said I would never get married or have children. I tore that all to shreds. I'm trying to handle this without making it seem gratuitous. Anyway, just keep reading! :D RTG, I think I would marry you if I weren't already married. How do you feel about joining a harem? ;)

Damn...Did 'Roro really chat on him? Why?!?!?! I know you've said you'd contnue but i think this story should be left as it leave us wondering. Although i would like an answer to my questions above, i really don't think i could forgive 'Ro if she ever really cheated on him. I liked the whole pararel between the spider & fly story, but i also don't think 'Ro would ever be so decieving and cheating would be kind of out of character for her. Liked the story and while i think it should stay this way i will probably read more if there is more.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review. That's why I like to explore these aspects of characters because I believe that anyone is capable of anything. It's human nature. And I could totally see it, especially with some of the recent "moods" she's been going through in the comics. I could especially see it more so in the X-treme era than anywhere else, but that's just me. :)

The tension in this made me feel like I was spying on them. I felt like I was listening to a private conversation that I shouldn't have. So many people focus on the "godly" aspect of Storm. You've showed she has a sense of humor (the "Where are my pants?" t-shirt) and you've shown that she can be sly. That's why I like your stories and this site. You, and the other writers on this site, make her a real person rather than some unfeeling goddess.

I am intrigued. I am looking for the twist already and I must say I can't wait to see this little web spun out. :) Update quickly--at least more quickly than me, ok.

Author's Response: This story definitely wants to be written. I'm supposed to be working on my challenge fics, but my fingers keep itching to work on this one. Update quickly? Me? I can try. LOL.

tEMPEST you've been gone for a while and then you just come and write this (which is very good) and leave us hanging. Keep writing more and more and don't leave!

Author's Response: I'm not going, anywhere! I promise. Last year, both of our computers decided to die at the same time. And my son was born in October, but I'm getting back into the groove! :)
