OK...wow what can I say? This story was absolutely amazing!! Standing ovation!!!

Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much! This is one of my older stories, so I'm always flattered and tickled when people see it floating around out there and actually READ it! *bows* Thanks for the feedback.

Well Jean is having an awful big "it's all about me" party, isn't she? Why do I feel she is up to something with this house warming?

Author's Response: Because Jean is just "Jean." She's a spoiled brat in this, I will admit. It was convenient for her to want Pietro to stay with Ororo, so she would have the excuse to keep seeing him under the guise of them doing "couples" activities without awkwardness. It would also provide a smokescreen from Scott wondering why Ororo and Pietro broke up. Thanks for your interest in this story. I appreciate the feedback.

“I’m not finished.”

This was my favorite line from this chapter. It is so blunt and curt that i love it. One single told two people in that room that Scott is awake now and getting pissed.

LOL!
I swear I know a lot of stories portray him as stick up the bum, asshole. But I love Scott someone has to be the up front nice guy, because so many people want to be otherwise.

Author's Response: I'm not even the biggest Scott fan, it depends on which creators at Marvel write him. I thought Grant Morrison actually made him into a selfish jerk, which initially annoyed me, but it made him a lot more interesting. When Claremont wrote him, he was too passive about Jean occasionally being attracted to other men. I wanted to vindicate him here. It was almost like having him say "oh, hell no, not in MY house!" Glad you liked him.

CeeCee,

You need to be given an award. I've been reading fanfics for a little over eight years now.
This was the first story that ever made me say out loud,
"THAT BITCH!"
90210, Guiding Light and the Young and the Restless have nothing on this story. ^^

Author's Response: That's a wonderful compliment. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I like writing AU while still bringing in some of the character's original traits and other bits and pieces that make you recognize who they're based on. Ali still sings. Jean and Ororo are best friends. And more on a silly note, Cain is still Ali's "best fan" like he was in Uncanny for one issue. Remy is still a flirt. I love your reaction to Jean!!! I had fun writing the scenes where Ororo began piecing it all together, particularly the slap at the party. Some of my stories are a little soapy, I will admit. Catfights, girl talk...those are tools I abuse to death.

Okay, you're the blame for me not getting anything done for the last couple of days. lol. Seriously, this was a great read! I especially enjoyed the way you portrayed Jean. I was shocked and intrigued by her. I also enjoyed how you intertwined the other couples into the story. Kudos!

Oh! And thanks for giving Scott a happy ending too!! Totally worth my house looking like a mess!!

Author's Response: hee hee! thanks for the review, I loved it! And I'm letting my own housework go by way of all good things, too, writing these! I'm bad, so help me... I wanted Scott to have a happy ending, and Reiko said "how about putting him together with Ali?" I said "yeah, why not, sounds good!" and there you go. Jean was interesting to write. She started off as Ororo's closest friend, but the trouble signs were floating under the surface; in the end she ended up being needier than Ororo. Thanks for reading me!

that was a journey. but it was a real true love. i really loved the ending. it was very realistic. i see jean has taken the role of stupid and is too stupid to let it go. clearly, pietro is a dog and he obviously is never going to change. but enough about him. i love ororo and logan's relationship in this story. it is SO realistic.

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it! When I started this, it was a fluff piece. The opening chapter was based loosely on different bachelorettes I have been to in terms of the silly things women do when they go with the mentality of "nothing that happens tonight leaves this room." I never thought I could build such a long story off of one chapter, but when I realized Ororo was initially happy with someone else, I realized, why would she be unhappy? All of that occurred to me as I continued to write this. I tend to overdescribe from time to time, but I like visual pictures. So sue me! Thanks for reading and dropping in! I appreciate the feedback.

I think this is my favorite story of yours, CeeCee. Sex, lies, betrayal, friendship and love.

This was the perfect way to end. Everyone ending up right where and with who they should be with. Especially Jean. She's getting exactly what she deserves.

Author's Response: Thanks! I had fun writing the sex, lies and betrayal parts the most!!! Jean was tricky for me. On the one hand, she could be anyone in life who makes a mistake, except that she didn't want to treat it like a mistake and own it. Thanks for reading and reviewing this, I've enjoyed your feedback and thoughts. I've enjoyed everybody's!

RoLo got married!!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This story has been such a joy. I'm such a fan; you had me at Wine and Roses. Loved Logan during the ceremony such a strong man yet hardly able to keep himself up. how sweet.

I adored Vic in this, he was just made of awesomeness.

yay Scott and Ali. the greatest payback he (Scott) can dish out to his cheating ex-wife is his immense happiness. Haha Jean!!!!!!!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you've been enjoying this, Kathy! Initially, I was thinking "I'll just let him squeeze out his vows around trying not to cry," but then I thought, nah! Poor guy bottled his feelings through half the story, might as well let him emote. Glad you enjoyed Vic, too. To me, some of the same qualities that make him Logan's enemy in the comics could make him a great "frienemy" in real life. And yes, ma'am, Scott being happy in the end was what I was gunning for. Neither one of them chasing each other to come back, just a good, clean break-up. Too bad those never happen in real life!

That was a cruel ending, even for Jean. However i LOVED the whole wedding bringing all of our favourite pairings together. A fitting ending to a great story. And i still think Scott and Ali deserve their own story. *hint*

Author's Response: Now see, everyone else keeps telling me I didn't give Jean a mean enough ending, Ana!! Jean was kinda given everything on a silver platter before, and she kinda walked away from it. Chickens come home to roost! Glad you liked the wedding. Scott and Ali got to hog up the last couple of chapters. Any other fic I do with them would likely be Ultimate verse or alternate. Or something. I dunno...

I LOVED this chapter!
The wedding was perfect. Your closest friends around you and Elvis, what more do you want LOL
Vic did not disappoint either, he was hilarious. His speech! OMG LOL :D Can't help loving the big hunk.

Again, I loved this chapter! No wait, I loved the whole story! What a rollercoaster ride! :D

Author's Response: Man, Steph, it's always great to hear from you! Glad you enjoyed this. Vic was fun to write. Ororo having a scaled-down wedding was likely from the beginning, when she was miserable at Jean's big shindig, languishing over 'Tro, and all Jean could do was blather on about how it was her day. She associated bad stuff with big weddings after sticking her neck out so far for Jeannie, only to have her man stolen away. So, Elvis, just ALi suggested in that scene, was the one who married them. It had to happen!!!! (particularly since I am insane.)

YEEEA 200 reviews! This was greatness personified. A perfect story. I loved the open ended storyline for Jean. We don't know if Pietro left when Jean told him she was preggers, or if he's out cheatin, or what. She's so miserable and alone, cause she chased away all her real friends, and its only going to get worse for her. Fabu!

Rolo had the most adorable wedding ever. But as great as they were Vic kinda sorda stole the show.

Scott, our underdog, WINS! Oh my, givin Roro away, awwww. And gettin Ms. Blaire like that pratically on a white horse. Ok ok, greasy pizza and a near foyer romp isn't exactly a thoroughbred but it still counts.

Wow! I love me some epic stories, and this is gonna make me smile forever. Squeeeeeeee Rolo and ScAli, le sigh.

Author's Response: Yeah, 200 reviews! That, like, never happens to me! (grinning like a fool here) Pietro is out making trouble, that is a given, but in the meantime, he's paying child support to an ex that has it in for him, dealing with his dad, and is soon to be a dad again even though he never really wanted a family with 'Ro (the jerk...). Yup, Scott came out the winner this time. Guy needed a break! Glad you enjoyed it. Give me a 'ring' when you have the chance, Reiko.
