Somehow I only just now got a chance to read this. High fantasy isn't always my choice of genre, there are few titles in it that I really like, and this just became one of them! This is fantastic. I love the world you've spun for this AU and I imagine you must have had incredible fun in doing the world building for this.

I really hope you plan on continuing this, it looks very promising and I look forward to seeing more!

Sometimes I like to read stories which are a complete AU, without mutants and all. This is such a story. I really enjoy reading such stories because all characters got a once over and a surprises lurk behind every corner (figuratively). But despite that the characters are still familiar.
I like what you did with Remy and I guess that ‘one of his brothers’ who can step through these portals is Kurt. I also love the idea that you made Kitty Logan’s sister. Though in the MU I think its Rogue who fills that role Kitty fits beautifully in this universe.
You write Ororo’s and Logan’s growing relationship very well. They are drawn to each other like dissimilar electrical charges. I’m curious what will happen. Will Logan escape and take ‘kidnap’ her? Or will he leave without her and they get separated? Will Ororo help him escape? Or will his hell-cat of a sister try to rescue him? So many possibilities
Therefore I really hope you will continue this story. In the meantime, I'll check out what else you got on your profile

why did it take me so long to start this? I LOVE Remy. He's such a charmer. I like how Scott and Ororo are becoming friends so quickly.

I don't like Magnus. Or Creed. That torture scene creeped me out. Didn't help that I was eating while I started to read that. I like Bishop a lot too. But Magnus reminds me a lot of Jafar from Aladdin.

This last scene with Ororo and Logan was great. Romantic and funny.

All and all I'm thinking I should give up Goddess and the Animal since this is so much better!!! Don't tell Cee I said that lol.

Scott and Jean are cute, trying to hide desperately what's going on between them, but failing miserably.
Loved when Logan caught a glimpse of Ro and thought of an angel. Loved it even more when their eyes meet in the temple and both couldn't take their gazes away.
So, what favor might Ro ask of Remy? Getting that sexy Barbarian out of prison I hope ;)

Finally! It's always a pleasure when they meet and sparks fly. I really, really liked the way you described Ororo's unique scent, very original and lovely. I love the idea of the Barbarian and the Storm goddess, so completely different and yet irresistibly drawn to each other, the stuff of great romance!

Well, now that I'm finally caught up I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter. Remy! Squee!
