I'm very, very intrigued with this. Love the tiny flashback thoughts/moments. And some of the lines are fantastic, hair spun from moonlight - egad who's the stalker? And
"She extinguished the bedroom light. She might as well have turned off the sun." So nice.

Author's Response: hee! thanks. glad you like my metaphors, despite that I tended to beat people over the head with them in this story, in particular. but it's been fun to write.

I'm intrigued here. A bit amused too as I never imagined Logan feeling like he might piss his pants. I'm not really into this genre so much but possibly since Twilight, which I loved for some reason I can't fathom, I think it's made me want to look into the genre a bit so I'm looking forward to seeing what's going on and I've been in a reading mood of late.

Author's Response: I never really read romantic/horror/comedy until about two years ago, and before that I loved watching Buffy. Glad you took some of your time to read this, I know it's in short supply when you get so busy. Logan has the capacity to be afraid here, but not of much. More of what's happening to him than of anything else thrown at him.

I'm a bit worried about Logan. They'll find out Pietro stabbed her right? They won't accuse Logan for it, right?? I do like Jessica Drew, so I was glad to see her in the story!

Loved the dinner and beach scenes. Very sweet (well most of it anyway!)

Author's Response: Pietro won't be able to hide for long. They haven't uncovered all the suspects yet. If you look closely at about two chapters ago, half the Avengers are police officers at the 13th precinct, and of course Logan's ex and her widower, Steve. You know me, always sneaking other members of the Marvel Universe into my fics' background gallery. Glad you're still reading, birthday girl!!

Author's Response: hey, I'm glad you're sticking around for this one! On the one hand, yes, she was pregnant, buton the other hand, she wasn't really a "nice" character, but she was still someone close to Logan. More of that to come. And I love writing crazy Pietro as much as I do evil Pietro.

This is a really well crafted story. I'm constantly asking; why, what and how. The suspense is neither forced or too drawn out. It is so refreshing to be frustrated (in a good way) in ff land as the obvious and predictable doesn't satisfy! You keep us guessing.

You've created a AU which uses enough familiar references so as not to lose the reader but then you offer a completely new spins and dimensions. You strike the right balance in refering to commonly held werewolf lore and your take on what Logan is going through as internal dialogue.

I took my hat off to the introduction and good use of Forge.

I loved the gradual reveal in chapter 17 when the characteristics, physical and sensory, of Logan are reminiscent of 'Wolverine'. The dialogue and scene setting is well timed.

I'm not super familiar with werewolf lore, so I wanted to bring different ideas to the table. Logan's internal dialogue feeds a lot of my stories, not just this one, so you'll see more of that in this. I'm glad you liked Forge! He will pop up again soon, briefly. um... so Pietro is a werewolf now? Why do I think that's just going to cause more trouble? I hope 'Ro keeps silver on her now... just in case Pietro shows up. But I guess she'll have to keep it wrapped up so it doesn't hurt Logan.

How did Logan change when it wasn't a full moon? It's kind of reminding me of Blood Ties now, with the were-cats lol

Author's Response: Ha! Werecats. I miss that. Logan's transformations are having greater control over him and becoming more frequent. He has a "transitional" form where he's still capable of speech, but his thoughts are still dark, still controlled by the Beast inside him. The full moon brings out the total change in him. Ororo's the key to him being able to handle the changes and to think straight. And yes, she still has that little gift Forge gave her. Just in case.
