There is a chance that i've already reviewed this chapter, but before i go on, i needed to say (and i may have said it before) YOU REALLY TURN A FLAVORFUL PHRASE. my fav this chapter alone is

If she wasn’t busy working him over, it would have been a nice voice. Deep, throaty and smooth, a low alto, the kind of voice made for laughing until you were breathless. Her inflections were familiar, definitely an east coast girl, but not necessarily by birth?

I swear i really get chills and if i was honest with myself... uh, nevermind that. Why in the hell don't you write professionally?

Author's Response: Because I don't know how to package myself, I don't have any idea for a book that lingers long enough for me to write a first chapter, and I have that inborn fear that even though I like words, I might actually suck. It's nice to see an update to this story again, I almost forgot what it was about when i got the alert for it. My oh my, Ororo and Logan seemed to be at each others throats.

And Logan has family in this, which is always nice for a bit of change. I liked the addition of Logan's family in your other AU story too. It's interesting to see how things pan out with them as well as RoLo.

Author's Response: Yeah, they will annoy each other a bit before they get back into the rhythm of what they had before. I always like how Logan and Ororo got on each other's nerves with his insistence of being a brawler who fought and won by any means necessary, and her determination never to kill. I like writing Logan as having a family, just because I can use a little creative license. Origin is all I have to go by, and Wolverine: The End. It made sense to me that he would have lost his mother in some sense and that he would have a brother who he was estranged from. I had fun writing Logan's family in Never Been, too. Especially his dad and stepmom! I will try to update again eventually, once my writer's block settles itself.

I had an awesome review, but this board is screwing with me. So, I'll give you the abbreviated version. 'Ro and Lo butting heads via the phone/emails is funny because when they see each other in person, they're explosive. Emma and her minions being "mean girls" = hilarity. Is Logan searching for his mother or is she dead?

Author's Response: Logan's mother is a detail that I will bring to light soon. Hint: He misses her. I enjoy things like email in my stories, or voice mail. At least I can relate to it myself. And Emma...yeah, I love making her the mean one.

Logan wasted no time pulling her away. I was a little upset that he stopped, but I understand why.

Author's Response: At some point, they had to remember where they were and they were there, i.e., business. If they don't kill each other first, pleasure will come later. I wanted to demonstrate that it didn't take much to stir up passion between them, even after a long absence. The spark hasn't died...it might ignite pretty soon! Thanks for reading!
