all right, you asked for specificity!

The moment when Ororo was listening to David telling her that he didn't trust her just walking off with Logan, accusing him of coming unhinged and hurting her. Her momentary reaction when she and Logan met eyes and suddenly wouldn't look at each other. THAT was tension, and great tension at that. There were other moments in this that moved me in that direction, too, but that was the one that struck me most noticeably. Is that helpful? :-)

Author's Response: Heh. Thanks. Everything plays in your head so much that you tend to forget where you wanted certain things to come across. Stupid head. Though, OC, I believe you will become very disappointed in me by the next chapter. There have been veiled hints throughout everything that's actually very weird for me to write. Yes, weird even for RoLo.

wow...exceptional piece of writing. This has to be the first and only Storm and Wolverine story that I have ever seen with so much emotion, but even that word feels lacking some how....

The passion behind both individuals, and then also their comraderie and the companionship....there is nothing facetious here, there is no loss...there just is..and what it is, is awe inspiring.

Really the best chapter, possibly the greatest Ro/Lo fic ever created!

I shall be reviewing for the next pieces.

I haven't even read this yet. And I can't read it tonight because I have to be to work early tomorrow morning, but I just wanted to say, "Hooray." I'm happy to see you are sticking with this story. I'm so excited. I really love this story, and I have missed it. You can expect a lot of reviews from me in the future. Gotta keep your creative juices flowing...you know. ;-)

Author's Response: Heh. Thanks, JamesGirl. Thanks for all your support while I've waded through this story. And your reviews really do help me along in my process. I'm ironing out the details in the next two chapters. I hate how slow going this whole thing is and your and other reviews are getting quite addicting to look forward to. :)

Oh, yay, you're writing again! *happy fangirl sigh* I had hoped it was this story when you said you'd written something new. ;) I'm intrigued all over again and if you wait another year to update, I'm going to go down there and ... well, do something you won't like! :p

Author's Response: *Doubled over giggles* Yeah, man. I felt like such a poseur with this story so untouched and undone. Seriously, I was up ALL NIGHT since I was thrilled I got past a couple of mental obstacles I was wrestling with - namely the racial aspect which, as you may discover, is actually very much a part of the memory he's reliving. *sigh* I assure you, the story's basically done but just have these huge holes I'm fighting with. The next update is extremely forthcoming. *hees*

I can't say how wonderful the feeling is to have inspired something like this. You're a phenomenal writer, and this story is so well-written. I'll be looking out for future updates. :)

Author's Response: Syrinx is not only a great writer, but good people. Her stories are visual works of art. I love all her stories but "The Sea Unites" and "1,000 Ships" (which has yet to be completed -- ahem AHEM!) are awesome... a mental vacation. I felt as if I was in Greece. I am thinking of putting airplane tickets on layway now. Syrinx, your opinion is greatly coveted. I hope not to disappoint as I progress.

Nice to see this thing posted. I love this thing! Really like its being long and I'm looking forward to reading part 2. I just love it!! Hope to see more from you! lol :)

Author's Response: Thanks, Blue! I hope part two does live up to your expectations. I am starting to break into a cold sweat now over it. I look forward to your impression, please let me know.

Damn. Talk about having some seriously great writing skills. I believe that you are now one of my favorite authors. Your technique in writing is wonderful. The fic is perfect. Hope you update A.S.A.P. Again, perfect writing.

Author's Response: Seriously, Thanks for that TS. All these words of praise are really great for me to read. I haven't written anything in years and (much as I'm sure has happened to you) the whole Ro/Lo concept really does spark a lot of motivation to imagine, write, read. I hope your positive regard for this story continues after part two -- not in that i'm fishing for anything, more so in terms of the direction this is going. Please-let-me-know!. Thanks again, TS!

I just can't wait to see what happens next!!! Oh and what was that Ro yelled at Logan? Towards the end when they were arguing?

Author's Response: (Nem giggles maniacally into her hands bent over her keyboard. She wiggles her fingers at the screen willing -- no, compelling! -- TigerStorm to come back for part two for any and all answers that may be had. Then Nem continues to giggle into her palm...) :)

That was really wonderful. The way you phrase things is just beautiful. Everything flowed very nicely, and it didn't seem rushed at all. I can't wait to read the next installment of this story.

Author's Response: Thanks for the feedback. And I'm glad that it didn't feel rushed to you. It's just hard to deal with bad vibes and a breakup fight is never good mojo. I kept avoiding and avoiding... I look forward to getting more of your feedback in the future with each installment as well.

you're goOd. don't ever not write.

Author's Response: So I get to work and see this as my review... I breathe a deep thankful breath that my fitful sleep in my anxiety of whether or not anyone would like the story was just ker-ray-zee. Thanks so much, Nickel. I really appreciate it. I feel a little less crazy today.

I'm speechless...that was breathtaking. It didn't seem rushed or incomplete or anything. Wow. That was...poetry. Incredible. I can't wait until the next chapter.

Author's Response: AtheD... we like AtheD. Thanks for reviewing. It took a lot out of me, the last part did. I guess, much as in real life, it so much easier to bring two people together than break them apart. Curious... any confusions you experienced during this initial read?
