Danger Room

Ro made her way down to the sub-levels of the mansion. She was glad Charlie
took her design advice the place was a fortress. She headed into the main
chamber and saw no one there.

-I take took a wrong turn? Come on! I designed the this place for crying out
loud!-
-Hello Ro.-

She looked up at the control booth.

-You moved it?-
-Yes, are you ready?-

Ro smiled, she wore a long leather coat padded on the sides and neck area,
sleeveless, with a split to show off knee high padded boots and shorts.

-Let's get this show on the road-
-Cerebro, danger training Ororo/Strom One.-
-Six!-
-Correction Six.-
-Processing, information received, Ororo/Strom danger training Six.-
-She emailed her danger training to Cerebro? How?- Scott asked.
-She's Ororo.-

Ten drones came into the chamber, as the area around her turned into a city
block in Paris. Ro smiled as the cool night breeze blew over her skin. *I'm
such a genius.* The drones attacked, Ro moved, kicked, punched, dodged. She
seemed to defy gravity as she jumped out of the way of drone blast. Using the
robots own targeting system against, she tricked it into shooting the drone
behind it. She had yet to use her mutant abilities and Xavier got annoyed.

-Ro!-
-I'm getting my groove on, I never said six was my power using level. Wait
until I get to eight.-

That happened faster then expected, larger drones entered knocking Ro to the
ground?!. Thunder rumbled.

-Is it raining outside?- Hank asked looking around in confusion.
-No just watch.- Xavier said.

She summoned lightning into her bald fists and blasted two drones. Then she got
busy, the rumbling of the ground slammed two drones into each other, heat
focused on the head of one, made its fuses blow out. Extreme cold made the
lasts arms fall off. More drones came, she let the winds blow around her,
swirling into a tornado, catching the last group, repeatedly slamming them into
each other. The wind lifted her into the middle of that chaos, eyes white, hair
blowing. Then it was over.

-I see why she's called Storm now.- Scott said.
-That was impressive, she used her powers combined with her other skills. Was
she trained to do that?- Bobby asked.
-She didn't pick that up off the streets. She's an assassin isn't she?- Logan
looked at the professor.
-Use used to be.-
-You brought a murderer here?- Jean gasped.
-A little harsh don't cha think?- Rogue said.
-No Marie she killed for money.- Jean stated.
-I killed for a government, trust me there is a difference.- Ro said entering
the control booth.
-Not to me.-
-Good thing I don't give a shit.-
-Your you're a cold blooded murderer, I wont have her here. None of us will.-
Jean said.
-Speak for yourself Red.- Ro said.
-Everyone agrees.-
-I didn't hear that.- Ro said looking around.

Beast sighed in annoyance and roared.

-Enough! Ororo are you an assassin?-
-No.-
-What then?- Scott asked.

Ro looked at Xavier, he nodded.

-I was an agent for MI6, mutant rights division. On occasion it required a
death. Human or mutant.-
-Murderer.-
-Jean stop already.- Scott said.
-But Scott.-
-You think I'm a killer too Jeannie.- Logan asked.
-Course not.-
-I've probably killed more people than she has.-
-Not willingly.- Jean pointed out.
-Yes darlin willingly, before they made me this thing. It was my job, and I did
it.-
-Logan.- Jean began.
-Apples and Oranges, thing is both are fruit even if you like one better than
the other.-

Ro said looking at Logan and walked out. She went to the showers and changed,
she bumped into Logan on the way out.

-Hey.- Logan said looking a bit nervous.
-What's up?-
-Would you like to join me for dinner in the greenhouse garden? The Prof. asked
me to show you around, said flowers was one of your weaknesses.-
-They are and I'd love to.-

Dinner was quiet until Logan sighed.

-Pretend I'm a mark, just tell the truth instead of a story to get me into bed.-
Referring to her past. Ro smiled.
-How about you ask what you want to know?-
-Where were you born?-
-New York, my parents moved to Africa, you could imagine the looks I got.-
-What looks?- Logan said confused.

Ro eyed him like he was nut.

-White hair, blue eyes, black girl?-

Logan frowned. She Ororo hadn't realized that the nanites where still active.
She looked into the wine glass, brown eyes, black hair. She shook her head and
her hair slowly turned white, she blinked and her eyes where their natural
blue.

-Damn! I thought you were a looker before. How did you do that? Did you use
your mutant abilities to change your looks?-
-No, nanite technology in my hear follicles and eyes.-
-Why?-
-In my former line of work, me running around looking like this was well.-
-Dangerous?-
-Yeah, these ninites are prototypes, soon they will be standard for all agents.-
-So this is how you really look?-
-Yes.-
-Beautiful, I know I said that before but this look suits you.-
-Thanks.- Ro said smiling.
-Um, where was I? Oh.-

He asked question and Ororo answered, he found her to be very interesting
person. They walked the grounds.

-Where you ever married?-

Ororo looked hurt by his question.

-Sorry.-
-No. Um, I was a month away from my wedding when he called it off.-
-What?-
-Yeah, see um, it was 'her'-
-Her?-

Ro sighed.

-There this woman in nearly every mans life that he's loved above all. She's
the woman that knows him better then he knew himself. To him she's perfect,
even with her flaws, they fight more then they love and they love more then
they fight. The woman who he'd leave a two year relationship for. It was all
very subtle really; she came back 'cause she heard he was getting marred.
They'd talk about old times at my dinner table looking at each other with those
knowing glances. She'd be at parties where they'd slip into corners and spend
the night talking. She was perfect compared to me, well bred like Jean,
beautiful, his intellectual equal. Her.-

-What happened?-
-He came home one day and said he still loved her.-
-God.-
-I left, I got mad don't get me wrong, destroyed her car. But I loved Forged so
much that I bought her a new one and left them my house I didn't want it
anymore.-
-Better person then me.-
-I learned this much. I'd rather be back on those streets then second best to
anyone.-
-I'm sorry.-
-Took me a while but the cold hearted bitch returned and the rest as they say
is history.-
-I don't think your a bitch Ororo. Strong and a survivor, never a bitch.-
-Yeah well you don't know me that well.-
-I'd like to.-
