I love this, as usual. So many good lines (and that one about the beer tits rings a bell, makes me laugh every time I hear it). Love Logan in this one. I like how she pegged him as walking wounded while they were at the bar. THe slap on the butt was great. I like how she dropped her prim demeanor as she kept talking to him.

I'm still getting a kick out of Jubes, since she is pretty believable and has some great lines. The use of the crows is excellent, gives this a "The Raven" feel a la Edgar Allen Poe, or even the movie "The Crow." Good stuff. It's ironic that Ro had a bad feeling about the alley before, and that's where Logan showed up in this chapter.

Something looks like it didn't take with the bold/centered tags...weird.
Other than that, this looks great. Can't wait to see what else you do with this story. I know you'll do a great job of writing Logan. Storm and Jubes are already very likable. Don't see them paired as sisters in any other fics I have read. The little spark between 'Ro and Nate looks like it will be interesting to read, too.

It's very telling that Logan was the one who woke up and was obviously listening for her footsteps. I also wonder how she feels about him being the last person to glimpse the last of the real Jean before she died, since it was Ororo's best friend. This pulled at me for reasons like those, and of course for Ororo being so responsive to crises. She's one bad mutha. I can't wait to see who sent out the SOS. Your dialogue is always great, but this time the narrative was a strong selling point.

I read this on group, and I had to review it here.
I love the scenes and the way they commune with each other. Logan's toes curling in his boots was awesome! That and the image of her teasing him away from his PC while he's just typing away. Good stuff.

I love this because it has that quiet, brooding feel a story with Logan, from his point of view, should have. On the one hand, I'd love to see where you go from here, but on the other, it's compelling enough as a one-shot, too, because of the feeling that's already packed into it. Too many good things to describe. But I will do it anyway.
I love how this was told from Ororo's POV. The theme was definitely classic, the woman who loves a man against common sense and who can't let go of him. You could feel her torment, it made you wince, yet at the same time you understood how she felt and why. The language was smooth and easy to read.
I hope you'll keep posting stories, woman. This was fantastic.
