I got in a tizzy a few years ago, decided to give up fan fiction, so deleted all my stories. But later when I went to delete my ff.net account I just couldn't. I felt I had one story left in me. But, um, yeah, no stories remain here. Sorry.

I'm not putting my stories back here even though two of the stories that were here aren't on fanfiction.net. I've been so lazy (one reason I'm not reposting anything here) but one day I plan to post the two stories I had here over there. And if anyone cares you can read my stories at fanficdtion.net under the same name, Darlin. I also have stories with Ororo paired with Remy/Kurt/Iceman/Quicksilver/Thor/Sabretooth and maybe down the road even with Legolas. And if you like LotR I've a link there to another account I have, dreamingnwatercolors, with a few LotR stories as well as Firefly and Hildago.

I have to say I kind of miss this site, the camaraderie. I wonder what's up with some of my favorite author's and hope they're well.

What? But it seems like he does know her! But what a nice RoLo moment! I'm dying to know what's up with that and I'm also curious to know who this PFC kid is and why he's so important to Logan. Yum, lemon bars! :D I’m intrigued with this familiarity even Charles is aware of between Ororo and Logan and very curious why he can’t fess up. I'm dying to know what it is, how they're connected! And Logan’s memories were so sad. Another good chapter!

Author's Response: It's not that Charles CAN'T fess up--he's choosing not to, out a sense of (over?) protectiveness toward his daughter; he doesn't want to see her hurt anymore, especially considering how she reacted to the news of his illness. He's a father caught in a very sticky situation...so don't expect this version of Xavier to be omniscient & perfect; his actions may surprise some...

I enjoyed their meeting again this time as the sun set. I love the idea of them watching sunsets together. It always brings the title of this story to mind which is so lyrical and lovely. I love this story -- love it, love it, love it! It's made my weekend all the better. Now I'm off to read your other latest story and to pop you in my favorites.

As for my quick updates, well, it's full steam ahead for this story. I love writing it thus far, b'cos I want to get to those parts that every writer always wants to write--you know, that one scene that was the one that prompted you to write the dang thing in the first place. (In this case, there are more than one!) Also, it always helps to have such great reviews!

“Davis. Cameron.” Now that’s funny! This story’s like a soothing balm to me. I’m glad I’m able to read once more and glad I have a few more chapters before I get to where you left off at. Something to savor.

I like the pace here, like their easy going relationship but how does he know her? It’s killing me not knowing and I’ve a bad feeling if he doesn’t confess there might be problems. Ah, the joy of fan fiction!

A very good chapter! I especially liked the military details – very realistic getting back on active duty. Looks like our girls in for a world of trouble with Emma being thrown into the mix possibly. I will say I like Ororo’s hesitancy, good ol’ common sense. I’m so happy! I know it sounds silly but it’s good to be reading your stories again.

Not that I ever forgot how wonderful this story is but reading the last two chapters I was brung to new appreciation for your talent! It's been an age since I've actually had time and the desire for that matter to sit down and read RoLo again, partly because of the mess in Black Panther but also due to many other personal factors, one reason I understand why you haven't updated as fast as you'd like but that meant it was easier for me to get caught up which was a benefit for me at least! On to the next chapter!

*Breathing a huge sigh of relief* I can live with this. It's curious as it echo's, and no pun intended, your Desert Rose story. I have to mention this because it threw me for a few seconds, you have T'Challa saying "I am the first born son of T’Challa . . .” Of course I read on and saw what you meant but thought you should know.

Well! This is really going in an entirely different direction than expected. Powerful ending. And btw, I don't mind the lull between updates, gives me time to keep up being as busy as I am but now you must update ASAP! ;D
