I was glad to see him waiting for her but knowing she wasn't going to show up I couldn't imagine how they'd get together again. I like how you made it work. But OMGOSH I hate his attitude! Want. To. Smack him! I'm curious what's the mission about though. Still, of course, a good chapter.
