I think I've read this three times while waiting for an update. Glad I found this site, the new movie had me completely into Rolo and finding an active fanfic site for them was awesome. This story is how the movie should have ended, instead of going back to the tired Jean/Logan ship that wasn't even a ship to begin with. It's written so heartbreakingly beautiful. :)

I thought the same thing re: Ororo and Logan hooking up at least once (at the very least!) in the Bad Timeline. No matter what's waiting for Logan in the new and restored timeline, I think that considering Logan, Storm, Charles and Erik showed up together on the Blackbird just implies that it'd been just them for a while. And the way Logan puts it here ("Wasn’t roses and moonlight, ‘Ro. It was war, it was sex, it was something to get us through the night.”), is something I think really could've happened.
(tl;dr I liked that part, but it was also a punch right in the feelings, ow. the end to this chapter didn't help at all and 'roro must just be struggling so much and while that's terrible, I also think it's a neat way to show her strength of character.)
The staff all getting together and gossiping is cute. And heartwarming, considering how they couldn't do even that in the previous timeline. And haha, how ironic that Kitty's the one most vocal about not wanting to hear about that life, considering she's the one who made Logan's mission at all possible!
(I'm sorry, I ramble a lot when I review something I really like! D:)
Author's Response: Oh, I completely agree. there was something there, like they were the last two teams standing. I love that aspect. Logan has his way with words every now and then. I know, right in the feels, huh? I can't wait for Kitty to find out what her purpose was and how much she went through to send him back! I'm so glad you're enjoying my fic!

Gah. I am loving the twist here. I like how they were all preparing for this to happen, that they knew it would happen (it makes sense that they would pinpoint a year and try to anticipate Logan's... reverting? something?)
That said, twins! Named Laura and Anna-Marie! Be still my heart, that's really cute and I already like them both (and it's great they have distinct personalities already.)
What a cliffhanger though! This thing about another man replacing the Logan that had been husband to Ororo, father to their twins has me super hooked. Can't wait to see how things turn out!

Ahh, how exciting! I've been toying with the idea of a post-DoFP fic myself but words are so hard. I know you'll do the concept justice though, so I'm really looking forward to reading this! :)

First to Review & so happy you're back!! I havent seen"Days" yet but still had to read. Love this so far. I love your take if the movie verse in your stories. This one is going to be my one of my favs!
