The complexity you show is great. It adds layers to the story darma wise and of course the romance is simply sweet and so in character.

Poor Logan. He hates to get close to anyone because he's so afraid of hurting them. I hope Ro understands that it's his problem and nothing to do with her. They make such a cute couple and I love the approach you're taking with putting them together. Good chapter!

Logan and Jean as a couple thats hard to imagine, though I understand the underlying reasoning for them. Now Logan and Ororo is easy to see, friends for ever so why not be lovers for ever? :) I think the beginning is just fine as it is, though it always seems to get down to the point of him teaching self-defence. Not that bad a reason mind you, as he is the best at what he does. It will be fun to see what you do with the couple, and the rest of the cast.
