I'm loving this story so far, but in this chapter, you say that Logan lit a cigar as soon as he stepped outside with Marie. Then, a little bit later in the same "scene," you say that he wishes he had a cigar because he suddenly needed to smoke.

Author's Response: LOL, I have read and reread this story what seems a million times and so many other people have read it as well and we all missed it. I will definitely go back and fix that minor faux pas. Thanks!!!

This was the perfect chapter to read on a rainy afternoon (when I'm supposed to be doing an assignment lol)! I'm sad to see te story end, but I loved every word of it!

I'm just wondering... is there a sequel being planned?

Author's Response: I've spent many a raining day reading when I should have been doing school work. As for a sequel, well I've had a great deal of thought about it but as of this moment its still really rough.

Perfect. Love Charles putting the stink eye on Forge. And I love Jean and Ororo conspiring again about the elopement, and on baby stuff. I'm very happy with how this ended.

Wow. Forge. What a dick.

Up until now, you almost empathized with him because he was kinda like a puppet whose strings were being pulled by the bad guys (as usual). But his speech to Ororo was amazing. You made me hate his guts, no mean feat. He did have a point about her ego, though, when you think about it. Poor 'Ro.

It reminds me of the Mystique series they cancelled after twenty four issues, one of my favorite titles. Mystique had a device from Forge that allowed her to stay undetected by the feds. Forge is probably wishing in this story he had one, too. Scott should have tagged him with a homing device for the bad guys to catch him!!! Whatever. Great chapter. Give us that conclusion, Bard!

Ok, let me be the first to say, "It's about gosh dang time!" I got seven chapters of my own story in since the last time you updated. ^^

But yea glad to see you back and glad to see the story is up and running again. I'm a bit surprised on the amount of restraint Logan had with the whole ordeal. I loved seeing the turnabout with Scott though, that was refreshing in itself.

Now one more chapter to go!
