I have to say, I'm liking this version much more than the first. Logan isn't quite as cold and Ro is much more up for taking a risk. Good job!!
Author's Response: I have to say, i'm liking this version much more myself. Thank you so much for the review!!

As usual, awesome. I'm just going along with the ride because you always produce complex and quality type work. Again, I love the characterizations of both Ororo and Logan, there is that sum of their parts that makes sense and is plausible in their universe and it makes the story that much more enjoyable because as a reader you come across a passage or a scene thinking, "Hmm, I could see that", or "Yeah, that's so Logan or Ororo". Great stuff.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review Nikki. It is seriously much appreciated. ::Muah!:: I like a seemingly simple story with surprising depth, so you just gave me a VERY nice compliment!! More soon, and again, thank you for the encouragement! always welcome and most appreciated.

I haven't left a review in months ( I prefer to tell you to your face), but man this chapter was HOT! Great snippets of emotional depths from Logan. I like the direction of this version much better! Clear and concise yet you can throw a monkey wrench into the whole mix and surprise everyone. OH MAN! You are a great storyteller and people should thoroughly read (several times) each chapter because there is a surprise in every one, certain clues that eventually add depth to the entire story when all is said and done. Oh yeah, this is a HOT chapter and a great fucking story so far. Give me more and give me WOLVERINE!
Author's Response: Gawd, i love ya, El. Just when the inspiration Muse in me takes a break you stir her back to life! "Give me Wolverine?" Is that a request...or an order? LOL

that was disturbing, it was tredding a thin line between an erotic scene and a rape. i am not sure i appreciated the scene and i wonder what storm's reaction will be to it. i actually like the way their physical relationship started in the first version. it was more tender still a little violent but not as brutal.
Author's Response: Well, that scene was meant to tread a line, but not between rape and erotic. The line between sex and violence is often a thin one, especially where excessive passion is concerned, and that's the line I wanted to push. Make no mistake, she gave consent, I made certain that was in there. ;) The emotional toll is where the real aftermath will be, as the physical--though aggressive-- was consentual. But rest assured there is a reason behind the change in scene, as it leads me to the developments of the next chapter, which I hope you enjoy.

I swear I am beyond conflicted right now. The first half was great banter and tormenting as usual. their animosity is great and refreshing 'cause it hasn't been overdone (especially not like this)
but my conflicting emotion comes in the second half. Hot as usual!!! it was gut wrenching. it was funny how one second they're arguing as usual, and the next they notice the bed and they're fucking fervently. one part of me is saying that was real quick, the other part is saying HELL YEAH.
but then at the end i feel so bad for Ororo. He gets up to go to what could possibly be the bathroom and she is laying there ON THE FLOOR in tears torn, both literally and not.
WOW, it is time for bed. Well done.
Author's Response: Have faith, chica. There is method to my madness.

This is my favorite chapter. The dialogue is simply hilarious. I'm glad you reposted, because I got to read it again :)
Author's Response: Thanks. i enjoy writing banter, so expect more of it. :D

Jesus, WOMAN! i took notes, but it seems i said the same thing over and over. I LOVED IT! but let's be specific about what i loved :) From beginning to near end, i laughed. This was one hell of a funny chapter! All the playful banter, like "Scooter a Masochist?" "hardly"... and that "pussy" comment. Ali and Colossus... Ali and Logan in the War Room. Hil-fucking-larious!
Secondly, there is a lot more hinting of things to come. But of course you'd only know if you knew what to look for (I feel special!!! Reaaaaaaaaal Special)
Thirdly, the biggest change, killing off Gumbo. Whoa! Bold incorporation being that he was alive before and played an integral part. This shall be interesting to say the least, with what happens next.

where do i begin??? first, the adding of the end part on the plane was a good mood. great ending. The Ororo reveling in the storm was definitely needed because all the later stuff can be connected when that time comes. Still love the cave scene, even with it's alterations. It's more mature now than it was before.
Author's Response: Thanks for all you do, chica!! :X

Author's Response: up now. :D

Author's Response: Thanks! More very soon!

Hey....what happened???? I agree your story had lost some of its oomph and speed that it had started with, but...welll, its up to you. Just hope u keep the rythem up with this one!!
Author's Response: life--that's what happened.
