I feel so sorry for Ro, this is so sad.
For a sec or two I thought things started to get better between them... but damn this man and his pigheadedness! How could he just walk away from her like that? She wanted to talk, even told him she wanted him back... and all he could do was turn his back on her.
I'm not giving up the RoLo hope though. At least not yet ;D

I read this awhile ago but was distracted by life and didn't get the chance to review. Let me just say that once again you have captured these characters and the heartwrenching emotions so vividly. Logan really needs to talk about what happend. It's eating him up from the inside. He's back at the point where he thinks he doesn't deserve any good in his life.

It's so sad to see them like this. Still caring and loving each other, yet so far apart.
What about the others, can't they step in and help them a bit? There must be a way to get those two pigheads back together :)

Well, I guess that answers my question on whether Jean's 'Phoenix' persona would make an appearance. *lol* More wonderful plot and character development. It was so realistic that I actually reached out and 'air-smacked' Logan in the head for his pigheadedness. But that cliffhanger was soooo wrong. You've got me on tenterhooks, so please update soon!

Oh, I'm SO happy to see you writing again! I was worried "Light" had fallen to the wayside! (Though I'm sorry for the reason you've been gone!) I agree with those who said that you really make us feel the pain these two are feeling - and it's perfectly believable after something like that. It would have been easy to say they just lived happily ever after once she survived, but you're taking the more realistic path, which will only make their journey back to each other all the more poignant! Can't wait to read more!

I loved "Light," and it doesn't seem that this sequel will disappoint either. Your trademark plot and character development, and emotive writing style are all here. How will the rift between Logan and Ororo be healed? When will Ororo walk unaided again? When will FoH strike again? And will see anymore of Jean's "Phoenix" persona? I look forward to discovering the answers and much more. A very nice opening chapter.
