Wow...amazing piece this was, very powerful and telling at the end. Of course we got an Ali/Storm moment..woohoo!! Based on your last fics, I've come to realiz you love Dazzler, and I can't blame you, cause she's bloody wicked. I totally squeed over how you introduced my man Arch Angel and of course Longshot---I was like holy crap. I hadn't heard mention of LS in like bloody ages..woohoo!! I wonder if you'll be bringing him in. These guys got a lot of nerve leaving the chick that loved them because of some self righteous attitude..since I'm sure LS was trying to be as chivalrous as Scott. Pooh, no Scott..oh well we can't have too much of a good thing now can we...?! ^_~

Oh and the ride was perfect, that is definitely a great way to show the relationship between Wolvie and Storm by having her go on a ride with him. Of course the ending was the most powerful piece. To see the feral in him fighting the man, stuff like that always and I mean always interests me. Man is so egotistical at times and when the more base part of them takes over---it's a shock to the senses and they hate themselves....when in reality if they embraced it...would be more beneficial to their state of mind. Of course in this case we can't expect that because it would bring pain to Storm.

But I totally understood Storm...that's almost like feelign raped. First they use your body and then toss you aside like a bag of garbage and then to add insult to injury, they don't apologize. Oh man this is gonna lead to about 5 chapters of misunderstanding...:D I hope he doesn't go and fuck Jean....cause you know I'm getting tired of that Wolverine.

Wolverine for all his tough guy persona likes to run away. He's weak when it comes to emotional ties and he's weak on a social setting...he has this need to leave so either the problem for him disappears cause he's gone so long he thought it was forgotten, or he hopes that's what happens. He can't stand up to what he wants....and it's frustrating to see a man like that. But I'm sure Jean is gonna make a play and things will be back to the way it was....But then I should trust his word I guess...cause if he has nothing he does have that, when he told Storm---there's no going back. So I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

But I do like the ending....I get the feeling the following chapter will be long, which I can't wait for. I felt this one was short but of course had a huge emotional weight. I wonder if you'll be bringing in Remy...if you do please not with Rogue! Anyway, at least Stormy has Scott. Maybe they can go back to Boston and have fun...or check out the new band.

By the way the writing is so good, that I was hoping we'd get to check out the new band and go to the club again. I'm such a goober for fics that let me think I'm actually a participating member. Again great job and I'll be watching..

Man...I of course love the Storm/Scott interaction. So cute, and the pot shots are funny..the snoopy one was hilarious. I really like this progression. But man can I not hate Jean more. What is her deal...she's the one messing up the relationship, actually she messed it up. And she's crying about Scott finally making some head way, of course to have it shot to hell again, about where the relationship is...and then she suckers him back in. I think Lorna was right...she did brain wash my mine. Did some telepathic mind warp and now he doesn't know up from down. He's made to feel guilty and of course is feeling guilty and she's what?! Getting her damn cake and eating it too. I mean that little smile when she got her way with Scott..ugh!!

I'm pushing for Lorna/Scott, Lorna/Scott, Lorna/Scott!! Hopefully, you'll think their a power couple to be reckoned with. Anyway yeah..back to Scott. Shoot..At least he stood his ground with Xavier if not Jean. What a prick is X in this. Not that I don't see it, I had read the comic a few months back---Ultimate I think, where we find out the computer is like Xavier's kid..and he new it had a life and he screwed it over anyway. Yuppers, what a jackass. And the poor team following along blindly.

That's why I would like a new team...one with this Scott, Storm, Lorna, Havoc, maybe Dazzler and Wolverine as side kicks. For Scott to be reprimanded like an errant child in front of his girl and for her to chime in her two cents. Bloody hell! Scott just takes on too much flack. It's not right...he really needs some freedom...so glad he has Storm. And the comments both Jean and Xavier stated about Storm...fuckin' 'Ell she bloody risked her lives to save others...and they have the balls and audacity to question that. Where is Wolverine when you need him, although Scott did a fantastic job.

I was a bit thrown off when I saw that Wolverine bought her the dress and flowers. I figured it was him, that wasn't the surprise; it just seems out of character for him to do that to me. But it's not too out there...I'm remembering Wolvie from the comics, he was a fairly romantic guy....maybe it's the dress....that could be what threw me off. Oh and loving the Scott/Ro interaction in that scene.

And now the love scene...wowser...wowser.. Lovely, very arousing..damn it..Wolvie sure knows hot to make a woman sweat and moan, and whimper,and damn him...he's fantastic...may I request a bit of purring from Logan, or a low growl when Storm pets him...I just get a kick out of that...hearing a man purr.

Author's Response: LMAO! Lorna/Scott seems to be on your mind, Vabs. *grin* Jean is...hmm...what's the word...I can't think of any PC nice ones, so I'll stick with Selfish bitch. Buuuut, she also has heart which is what drew Scott to her in the first place. As for the mind tinkering...wait and see, although I suspect you already have a good idea where I am going with it. ;) The flowers and dress were COMPLETELY out of character for Wolverine (at least this Wolvie, 616 Wolvie is a bit of a romantic) and they were meant to be. I want him to do, feel, and say things to Storm that he would never do with anyone else. Don't expect sonnets and poetry, or even more flowers for that matter, but I wanted his attempt at saying Sorry (something he never really does) to be unexpected and unique. ;) Thanks a million for the in depth reviews. Knowing someone is paying that close of attention makes me want to be as consistent as possible.

Again, fantastic addition. ooh..Xavier and Jean. I know you tried to make Jean lovable or at least tolerable and relatable in this chapter, I personally still choose to hate her.

She's definitely one of those changelings that changes faces due to emotion. So I won't grow to like her in this story. But the writing was great for Storm.

It's cool to see Fury getting a job to do. I never knew him as such a ladder-climber, but one must do what one must. Great to mention Storm being the only mutant to control the weather. So far Wolverine and Vic have healing ability and definitely the feral.


By the way i wanted to mention from the last chapter, much praise too see Storm calming and having that ability to even calm Vic's feral nature. Surprised Wolvie didn't pick up on that. Another moment I liked..and hoping in later chapers we see was Wolvie's mention of his hat, I'll assumed he sniffed it. I just haven't seen him using his nose much.

Back to Storms ability..I'm getting the distinct feeling that Storm's abilities are definitely are going to play a crazy role not only in this fic but also it's sequel. And I can't wait.

I wonder how Storms' powers unsettled the Storm when Wolverine kissed her. Since you've written the latest chapters..mentioning this as a question. Did her feelings for Wolverine in that carrier, have an affect on the hurricane?!

Anyway it was a great read and off to read and hopefully review 9. A bit sleepy now, if I don't get to it tonight will do tomorrow.

The infamous hat is not forgotten. ;) As for Storm's powers, I had hoped to be subtle in showing that when she was getting flusteredby Logan the storm was getting stronger. I didn't want to be blatant about it, as I enjoy interpretting fiction as much as having a story narrated. But once again you caught it, so I'm happy. ;)
