Again a very well written addition. I have to say I love the length of your stories, I'm all about long and detailed accounts and I haven't mentioned but the visualizations are wicked to think about.

I have to say Storm has a heart, I'm a bit surprised she went back---ooh, just remembered. They could have harmed some of the patrons of the club and that's not something she wants to be part of, understandably.

I'm a bit surprised, we didn't get much detail not only in this chapter but in the future chapters---of Wolverine using his nose much. I realize it might take away from the visiual affect, but I had wanted to know if there was any sniffing going on between Wolverine and Vic, or a shared familiarity. Could also be what may have added to the aggression...

I wanted to mention before I forget the scene of Wolverine getting kneed in the groin. Man, as a female I even flinched when I imagined being aroused with an overly senstive appendage and then with a hard kneed on top of it. A lesser man would have died.

I also liked Storm's display of power...that was interesting how close to Wolverine and Vic she directed the blast without actually hurting them...she's obviously evovled in her skill.

I do have a question and a statement. Now I figued Xavier could be manipulative, since I have always felt he was much like Magneto on the same path with different routes. So I'm not surprised by that...but to see that even the team Leader--Scott didn't even know of his dealings but Jean did...is like a slap in the face. Or even Wolverine to be shocked and still back him up---albeit lightly. Rather annoying to see that. And I'm not sorry to say, makes me hate Ms. Grey more.

Anyway another great read and I'm off to chapter 3.

Author's Response: Vic and Wolverine sensed the feral in one another, but I didn't see that as a key element just yet, so I didn't focus on it. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Storms powers are always evolving and she is slowly learning control. Since I am borrowing heavily from Ultimate X-Men she does not have teh percision and control that she has in 616, as it is flying is a fairly new skill for her. Jean and Xavier (especially in Ultimates) share a questionable bond. In the latest issue I read Xavier told Jean that he loved her (*gag*) and I always wondered if there wasn't more to his "attention" than mentor where she was concerned. As for Wolverine backing Xavier up, it's Logn's straightforward mentality. Xavier took him in knowing full well he was a killer and took a chance anyway. So Logan's slate is far from clean. He's not really one to question the dealings of anyone else. :D On to your nex treview...

The first of my many reviews for this story. Wow....as I said in chapter 9, excellent story and very original. I just liked how this story started, in a way it was a breath of fresh air, since I was beginning to feel that all the stories had the same sort of beginning. I have to say I do like the way you start it off, with Storm definitely the key element and very in your face. She's no wall flower...and what added to this was how vital she was too the team, and that they went looking for her.

I thought the strip club thing was a bit interesting, definitely something new for 'Ro, not totally out in left field, but definitely new to see her written this way, and I love that she's in charge of the 'champagne' room.

Another interesting point that you brought up, which is an excellent analogy; and gives food for thought to the extent of 'Ro's powers is the electric socket reference when a telepath tries to force entry into her mind. It's definitely an original spin to her powers...and it does make sense. Brain waves are connected to electromagnetic power, and then added that with the mutant power to control magnetic fields because of her connection not only to the earth but also Stars and Planetary electronic fields in any galaxy...adds an invigorating twist.

I definitely hope to hear more about that and I hope you definitely delve into that..it would open the doors to a wealth of story avenues and would hopefully set the precedence of more fics touching on that.

Second piece I liked, was Wolverin's line about using the charge card for 'hotel rooms'....I got the distinct impression that was a dig at Jean---when they decide to go on their various sexual interludes away from the house. Man just becuase it's planned makes it even worse. She takes the time out to get out of the house---probably uses a mission as an excuse to have sex with Wolverine. Man there's no way that evil wench of a woman, if she could be called that, deserves Scott.

I'm one of the rooting fans against the Jean/Scott pairing, paticularly against this fanfic. He deserves better, and I'm going to get crude----her vagina needs a rest!!! This does make me wonder if Jean will be jealous of the impending Storm/Wolverine relationship--and if she'll do someting about it. It's hard to no longer be the Princess that everyone wants to screw.

Anyway great start and I love Vic as I mentioned and of course the dialogue is great---as I mentioned. I can't wait for the future chapters....

Off to chapter 2.

Author's Response: You are a woman of your word! Hot damn! :D The electrical static shock of her powers in regards to telepaths (as much as I would love to take credit) is actually well established Marvel cannon. It will come into play a bit later in the story, which is why I put it in to begin with, so, good eye. :D The hotel room comment was a dig at Jean and for that reason. Jean will indeed be jealous of the Storm Wolverine romance. Vic was a surprise addition for me. I was just writing and before I knew it I had added him in as a ex-Seal and a bouncer and it fit for me, so he stayed. :D Glad you enjoy him. He'll be around again.

Good chapter! Scott/Ro relationship is fantastic and respectful (Scott surprised me). Jean always thinks that they fight over her, pleeease! Where will this little tryst take Ro and Logan? They don't wanna fall in love, but I think it's too late, unless Scott (in a friendly way) or Jean (in a bitchy way) interfers. This is getting good, not that it wasn't good before! Great job and can't wait for another chapter.

Author's Response: Trust me Ro and Logan need no interferece to make their own bumpoy road, LOL, but we'll see what happens. Let's just say Scott is supportive of Ro, even though he may disagree with her decisions, and Jean will not be happy that one of her two men has mosied his way out of her pen. *wink*

I like Jean, I really do. But anyone who stands in between Logan and 'Ro deserves my eternal hate.

*laugh* Okay, so not really, but you get what I mean.

Scott, well, I like how you did the Scott/Ororo friendship. It's nice seeing him act less... Scott for once.

Keep on going!

Author's Response: Thansk very much. Eternal hate, huh? LOL. I get what you're saying :D More soon! Thanks for the review *hugs*

LOL LOL Jean walking in on Ro's "proposal" So damn priceless :D Bwahahaha, serves her right. Feel some pain, Jeannie!
"You don't need her. You have me." ... O.M.G.! And I so absolutely HATE her for playing him like this! I really hate her now. She doesn't deserve a great guy like Scott. Not at all. I hope he finds the strength to dump her. Free himself from this crazy hold she seems to have over him.
Xavier... ugh. He's not really someone I'd like to be around actually. Threatening to just manipulate Scott's mind like it suits him... WTF?!
Logan really can be a sweety if he wants to :) Loved all the flowers, the dress and the card. Scott and Ro in her room LOL Like two girls talking serious girltalk LOL :D
Had to smile at the addition to Logan's uniform for his cigar LOL That's so Logan.
Scott standing up against Logan was great! Finally he's showing what he's made of. And Jean again, gah! The second Scott walked out on her (Yay, way to go man!) she moved over to Logan. Good thing he dismissed her as well! Damn, I so don't like her here :D
The scene in the backyard... just WOW! So damn hot! *fans herself* Mmmhhhh, that really was perfect *drools*
They both don't want to fall in love. Aww, so sweet. If they'd only know LOL

Author's Response: Wow, Steph. Thanks. Scott is a rather pleasant surprise in this fic. Jean, hmmm. I don't really know what's coming with Jean. I don't hate her, and neither does Ro or Scott or Logan, so that complicates things a bit. We'll see what happens. Hot backyard loving was fun. More soon!

Author's Response: Xavier always has a little something something in that bald head of his. :D Logan mad ammends for the 'incident' but he still has a long way to go in terms of a relationship.

Oh, my my my...I'm frickin' speechless.

Well, not really. Just still fanning myself from the imagery and laughing over the banter. This was excellent. What a transition! Going from hearing Logan promising "Gonna **** you soon" to "I gotta make up for the other night." I don't know how you come up with this, but it's fantastic. And this is the best Scott's ever been written! Bravo!

Author's Response: I am enjoying Scott tremendously. Logan was a bit gentler than before but don't for one minute think that "Gonna fuck ya soon" attitude has scurried away. *wink* Thanks much for the review. **beams**

They don't want to fall in love? Psshh, they're already there and don't even know it. As for the Professor and Jean--UGH! Xavier should back off and Jean needs to be put in her place and stop thinking she can go plow Logan and then expect Scott to be there afterwards. Scott's discovering he's got a backbone, time to put it to good use. Yet I have this sinking feeling Jean is just gonna poo-poo everything, lol.

Nice job! :-)

Author's Response: LOL. Poo-poo on everything, eh? Never heard it put quite like that before, :D Scott does have a backbone and he will use it. We'll see what develops. :D

Beautifull! Logan buying flowers and aranging them on in her room?!?! I can't blame Scott for not believing it! The Scott/Ororo interaction reminded me of two best girl friends. But the feeling of friendship and trust really camde trough. I can't beleiev Jean tried to convince the Profesor that Ororo is a bad influence over Scott! She's such a bitch. I LOVED the proposal scene! I was so laughing! As for Logan...wow! He was so...perfect, and gentle, and understanding and... HOT! I can't wait to see what you've got installed for our fave couple inside that crazy head of yours!

Author's Response: Thanks Panther!! Many ideas and lots of twists coming your way!

I'm glad Logan finally proved what he could do. LOL! That was hot! It was sweet that he sent her the flowers and the dress too. I still see the both of them being stubborn and denying their feelings for a while. Gotta love our RoLo. :)

UGH! When is everyone going to find out how triflin' Jean is? Xavier needs to mind his own business too. I'll be happy when Scott cuts Jean off. She doesn't deserve him. (Lorna, where are you when we need you?)

Excellent update!

Author's Response: Stubborn ain't the half of it *wink* What is Lorna doing with herself...? Hm. *grin* Thanks so much for the review. Hopefully the next chapter answers some of your very good questions. :)

Oh this is gonna be good! Xavier not liking Scott and Ro being friends? Jean playing mind games with Scott? Logan turning over a new leaf of celibacy from Jean? Last but not least Logan and Ro getting hot and heavy in the grass? Priceless indeed! It really is too bad that both of them are already hopelessly in love with each other! Can't wait for the morning after!
Write on windrider1,write on!

Love it, love it, love it! I absolutely LOVE this story. Can't you tell? ;)

Your writing of Scott is phenomenal. It gives him added dimensions only ever hinted at and then brushed aside in the comics. There's been so much character(s) assassination in the comics, so thank you for making me like him again :) Here's hoping he and Lorna get together again (please?!)!

And it's nice for Ro to have a "brother" to lean on and for them to be in each other's corners :)

Finally, I about died *laughing* when badass Wolverine was, for once, NOT the best at what he does. LOL! He deserved it - definitely needed to be taken down a notch or two.

I always say that each story you write is the best, but I truly do mean it. They are all the best, unique in their own ways. Thanks for sharing your talents and brilliance with us :)

Author's Response: :D I'm glad you're loving this story. i am certainly enjoying writing it, and there is still a lot more I want to cover with these characters. Scott is a complex man and I feel he is continuously overshadowed in the books by Logan. I really like him, and think his reserve has deeper psychological issues as opposed to him being a prick. The brother sister relation is nice for both of them. As two of the most independent and powerful mutants who must at all times excercise control or else people get hurt, I think they relate in ways that the others can't. You are most welcome and update in the works!!
