There is nothing better than a good fic to enjoy over my morning coffee. And this one is just awesome.
I truly enjoy the way you write Scott. I think the comics often mishandled his character, turning him into too much of a Boy Scout. Here, you're giving him somewhat of a wilder side, while staying true to his character. It's fantastic! I very much enjoy the relationship with Storm.
And Scott knows all about Jean and Wolvie. Interesting. Poor boy is just willing to roll over and let it be. I do think that his history with Lorna has something to do with that, and that's very sad. Poor boo. Jean manipulating him? Oh, I so don't put it past her.
The "rescue" from Jean and Wolvie was great! I love that Scott decked him. I just really have loads of love for this version of Scott, which is highly unusal of me!
Oh! I love their banter, but this is the best line ever: He looks at you like a man in heat. He looks at her like a man possessed.
*drools* I really can't wait for more!

That last line expresses very much how I see RoLo. Jean is lust, Ororo (if Marvel ever pulled its head from its ass) would be obsession. Primal and fierce. But that's why there is fanfic and delicious writers such as yourself. :D

Mmmm...Love the Yummy Updates. I found the updated 5min. Before i left work at 1am. I printed it out to read on the train ride home. You could just imagine how excited i was at the prospect of reading 19 pages of Windrider written goodness.
So, i'm on the 2 train heading to Brooklyn, enjoying the scott and storm friendship, the Wolverine jealousy, and of course the introduced antics of Ali, when.....JEZUSFUCKDAYUMN! (Yes, i actually said/yelled/whimpered this on a crowded train at 1:30am) I found out that I'm missing the last five pages of the fic.
I search through my bag. Nothing. I search the train floor. Nothing. I started to feel the slight beginings of hyperventalation. I wanted to cry. I don't think i've ever made it home so fast from the subway station in my life when my stop finally came up.
I'm so happy Scott is developing a back bone. Poor Poor Cyke...I hope after the night out he finally shows Jean that he can drop it like its HOT. lol. I loved the last line that he said. Wolverine looking at Storm like a man possessed. Mmmm....can't wait to read the next chapter. Favorite line in this one: "Gonna Fuck ya soon". LAWD GAWD. GIVE ME MORE!!!
Okay off to bed now. *smoochies*

...these are a few of my favorite things!!!! (I'm making like Julie Andrews here)
This is fabulous again, steamy, funny, smart, and so insightful in regard to what all the characters are thinking. This is, above all, a successful ensemble piece where every character matters. I want the steamy chapter coming next as much as the next reader, but I also can't wait for Jean to do some soul-searching into how she's been treating Scott, he deserves a break soon. Eventually...let Ororo and Scott play with her head some more first!!!

ok ok, i loooove wolvie and storm together. they're perfect yada yada yada. that said (::covers wolvie's ears::), how sad is it that your story's got me wanting cyke and ro together? now, you know me, if it weren't for rolo i'd be a die-hard cyke storm 'shipper. i think they're fantastic together (when done the right way, of course) but never before has one of YOUR fics made me really want wolvie thrown to the curb. violently. and he's not really even being that nasty. he was much crueler at the beginning of KC (esp. the first run at it, wow-wee!) he's being typical wolvie but for some reason, i don't want them to end up together. NOW, i CAN'T imagine you'd have storm end up with cyke in this story, so rest assured, by the end of the story i'm sure i'll want RoLo...Well done, chippie!
