Wow. Deep and moving, for a tiny little ficlet. If you don't continue this as a long story, then perhaps write a follow-up to it. Interesting to see Forge portrayed as someone who abused her, as opposed to just hurting her through the usual relationship drama. I hope you continue this, somehow.
