Nice way to include Vic in this, too, heh :) When he opened the door in nothing but a towel I was like "ooohhhhh yum!". Then I remembered that I was supposed to be on Logan's side here LOL. Oops ;) So, uhm... poor guy. ... but Vic in a towel... damn! :D
Author's Response: You know Emma, she's always trying to pull something stupid...she's still my least favorite X-woman, so I tend to bash her a little in my fiction and write her extra nasty. I thought to myself, if Logan and his friends and enemies from his Weapon X days were in college together, what would they be like? Yeah, Vic in a towel...why not?

Author's Response: Ya know, my favorite part of this piece to write was Ororo remembering her mom's advice about a guy not buying the cow if he gets the milk for free...I just remembered sitting there with a goofy look on my face, mumbling "Mooooo..." and thinking it was something I would want to read, or hear as someone's internal monologue. Call me crazy, everyone else does...glad you got a kick out of this story.

I ended up reading part of the story on my train ride home the other evening and ended up finishing it on my way back into work this morning. Let me just tell you reading a fic with a hang over is not a good thing. Not, a good thing at all.
So, i'm all like WTF when this Catwoman chick shows up and starts kissing Logan and i'm having a straight fit on the train. Then i pass out on the train. Wake back up out of my hangover semi-coma. Start reading the last few pages of the update again. And finally realize that Ororo = Catwoman.
Thats why i was all confused when Wonder Woman Left with a "Whip".
I loved "The Bronx Tale" reference when Ororo reached over to open Logan's side of the car on their little lunch date. I know dudes who REALLY take that "test" seriously.
I can't wait to see what else you have in store for the Dynamic Duo. LoL. Okay, i'm off to go pass out in one of the empty conference rooms. Update soon!
Author's Response: Woman, what are you doing trying to read ANYTHING with a hangover? Didn't the text kind of swim on the page through the torturous glare of whatever light you were reading by? That's just punishment...ouch. Yeah, that whip thing was kind of a sneaky bit of "foreshadowing." Or something like that. That lock thing was from Bronx Tale? Thanks for educating me. Author's Response: yeah, he was cute :-) I told myself "these two haven't really been on a real date yet, they don't have reason to be kissing yet," but then my usual overactive RoLo gland began pumping, and I said "what the heck, they don't need a reason, let 'em mash face!" And mash face they did. Next update is coming slowly; too many distractions to think.

A Wonder Woman costume would have been predictable, and at the very worst, gaudy as hell. Have you SEEN any real life Wonder Woman costumes in costume shops that aren't Linda Carter's original suit? They suck. Skip any updates to this if you feel they're too traumatic (sob, sniff). And update Once Upon a Time, fer cryin' out loud! Quit readin' my crap, add on to yours!!! For the love of the Goddess! You and your updates at the most inconvienent of times. First it was giving up on sleep and now i'm debating whether i should stay at work late to read.
