Good grief , I had to comment and I'm not finished with the chapter! Waaaaaaaaaa this is so sad. Showing the father relationship she had with Magneto in the past was heart wrenching when he left. Talk about abandoment. I LOVED how you described him as father, fatherly, mentor, Erik, Charles' friend and Baba, distinguishing his role as Magneto when he abondoned them. MAN YOU ARE AMAZING! Okay, I'm finished crying, now I have to finish reading the chapter. sniff, sniff

I'm glad the trio was able to destroy the sentinels and kill Trask and his minions. But Logan's all alone :(
I was wondering about the letter from Charles earlier, since she never read it. I had forgotten all about it after a while though.
This story was quite a ride! :D Made me laugh and hope and dream... and cry LOL *wipes eyes*

Brilliant. Absolutely amazing.

Emotion-wise, this is tough to beat. It's got the same heady punch as 'Fade' did, but maybe it's much stronger 'cause of Ororo's death.

Definitely one of my faves. I'm gonna be hyping this one out to my friends for a long time.

Once again I'm left speechless at the end of one of your stories. It was fantastic.

I'd made it through almost the entire story without getting all teary eyed and then the letter came...talk about blurry vision.

*sniffle* Oh goodness. Where are alien cloning devices when you need them. I am glad that the Triad that was Logan, Eric and Raven were able to take down Trask and his crew. I only lament that Wolverine will be alone. Nice touch with the letter from Prof. X Bittersweet.

Hunh. Can't believe I missed a chapter. I think it fits with Logan's character that he would realize that a battle during one war doesn't extend past that event. So that he could still see Magneto as a father figure to his love and extend him the right to vengence (or Raven). Good chapter

okay, so i don't hate you any more. i'm back to wanting to hug you. looks like we've got quite a battle cooking here! definitely excited for that! and at the end...ororo can...magically reappear? alive? okay, i doubt it. that might cheapen the story anyway. sigh...,well like i said. hugs not hate. :)

you're absolutely right. i do sort of hate you. BUT you said it doesn't have a "typical happy ending" so maybe it has a different kind of happy ending? :( we'll see...on to ch 21...

Amazing. Can't describe it better than that. My eyes
got teary at the description of her funeral and when Logan said his eulogy...that was unbelievably heartfelt and beautiful.
Logan, Magneto, and Mystique. That's a serious ass beating coming up. :-)
