Author's Response: 1. hey, the guy was hoping for a chance to be close to her all day long! 2. i wanted Ororo to get to the point, and not mince words. she's just lost her "placeholder" man that she's been settling for going on five years. Logan "rescued" her. That doesn't come without having to explain yourself later. 3. Logan would wait for Ororo, any length of time, if she treats him right in return. He needs that. He will in subsequent chapters. 4. Believe it. He always had that potential. Ororo is one of only, let's say, three people who have seen his good side in this story. That is a hint. 5. Yes. It was time for RoLo.

Author's Response: He's half crazy about her already; he will suffer more...ahem...discomfort soon. I still laugh about Reiko's "redwood" from Aint No Business! Best euphemism for "got wood" so far!!! I've been trying to make my love scenes less clinical and read less like porn, but once you get started with the old "I can't move my legs" climaxes and other gritty details, it's hard to turn it off. My muses are dirty, DIRTY people!

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it. I enjoyed hearing my muses murmur that scene in my ear. Particularly the scene with the Band-Aid, and her telling him to take his time with her. Ironic, since they hopped right into bed, but hey, you know me. Queen of One Night Stands in fanfic!!! I'm bad about that. I just like these two together.

I really liked how you showed Logan's sensitivity to Ororo's needs. The end of the chapter was about more than sex. It showed that there is someone out there that will value Ororo and won't take her for granted.

Author's Response: Well, yeah. That was what I wanted. I think that is what we all want, someone to value us, and for the reasons why to be clear. Logan will ponder that a little soon. He wants someone who will value him, too. He has a past...hint, hint.

I flove Ororo and Logan! That was such a Knight in Shining Armor moment and I loved every minute of it! I was really hoping 'Ro slapped Pietro a few times, but I'll just leave that to my imagination. It's funny that Scott noticed something was bothering 'Ro, but Jean didn't.

Can't wait to see what 'Ro's friends have to say about Pietro's infidelity? And is Emma the hussy with the tacky thong? I wonder...Great update!

Author's Response: I love Ororo and Logan too. I can see him coming to her rescue more than once, and growing to care about her in the process. Yes, she could have slapped him, but showing him that she knows what a player he is was good enough for me. Jean is still absorbed in the glow of her wedding and all of the trappings that go with being a newlywed. She'll get an education, too, on being a better friend. Hint...Emma ain't the hussy.

Ugh, Pietro is such an ass. Always thinking about himself... Ro doesn't really want to have a ring from that guy?! ... Oh man, I hope she'll come to her senses and just throws him out or something.

Author's Response: YUP! Ororo is realizing things the hard way. She loved him the first time around, but she's getting an education on how he really is after taking him back. It'll hurt, big time. And the channel flipping, naturally, is straight out of my own house!!!

Author's Response: They will meet again! In a couple of the least likely of places. 'Tro I can't picture as having a lot of body hair, I see him as being sculpted and smooth for some reason, maybe with a cute little happy trail and a sprinkling of hair on his legs, but not much more. The contrast between him and Logan needed to be evident for me, I don't know why. Vic was fun. I have met guys like that in college, at bars, and in menial labor-type jobs I have held. Braying, macho, and occasionally right on point is what I was going for with him. Glad you liked him.
