...so did I say this was an excellent chapter??? I love Vic's thoughts on their relationship and that building, gut-clenching knowledge you immediately get that things are gonna get much, much worse for our favorite couple.

This reminds me a bit of Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette in "True Romance." Lots of recklessness and tension. I'm glad this is in my favorites.

Oy! Poor 'Ro...she's gonna end up swimming with the fishes! The scene with Vic and the girl who looked like 'Ro reminded me of a Sidney Sheldon novel called Bloodline. Snuff films and identical corpses showing up every few chapters or so. This is just as compelling.

Ororo and Charles...I never saw that coming, but it fit. Perfectly. I wrote a "CharRo" fic a long time ago that sucks eggs, but I had fun writing it at the time.

Keep it coming. That last line was great!

Man. Only you can make me drool over a love scene and make me feel paranoid about 'Ro's psycho ex showing up on their doorstep at the same time. Once again, we see that side of Logan who's beginning to not only crave her, but need her.

And of course, I love Billie Holiday. Strange Fruit makes me want to cry every time I hear it. You just can't beat that beautiful old jazz that sounds like the person singing it wants to just about die, and take you with 'em.

Vic didn't kill Cyke and Jeannie. Fancy that??? I'm laughing that he didn't want to dust them as a warm-up! On to the next chapter!

Oh how mean and cruel you are to end it like that! I get so excited every time I see another posted chapter of this story, I'm stll giddy with glee. LOL

Yeech! A bit Oedipal innit? Poor confused girl. Good thing Charles straightened her out...for all the good it did. I wonder what she is going to tell Charles about Victor. I wonder how Logan is taking the loss of her. Good chapter!
