It's funny that a man who embraces being a loner is disappointed that he didn't have people waiting in the garage for his return. LOL. "Growly" made me snicker.

You know I love stuff with the kids all playing out on the lawn. As usual, you kept everyone in character, including movieverse character. Loved Hank, loved Ororo's memory of Charles, and I loved Bobby, too. I was wanting to write a holiday fic, but my moods keep swinging like a pendulum, and my writing ideas fall out the window as soon as they rise to the surface. This was great. Now that you are out of school, you can write us some more.

I love how it takes place after X3. Logan leaving for seven months without a word, brilliant. The subtle loss is there, just uber!

Well, well, well. I take a quick break from writing WtL's new chapter and lookie!

This is a wonderfully light start. I love anything that involves Ororo playing -- especially with my Furball -- and this was just perfection.

You have a way with dialogue, woman, that just hits every spot perfectly. Banter between both 'Ro and Hank as well as Hank and Logan was masterful. You always know just what to say and no word is wasted at all.

I want to see more of this, I truly do. It's a wonderful start. Witty, fun, but with the underlying sadness of losing 3 X-Men in one fell swoop.

Beautiful, Windy. Just beautiful.
