Logan shopping - that was funny. Why is it that when you send a man out shopping the inevitably end up coming back with the wrong thing? I love the use of British words and especially liked the mate part as it rang so true and then you turned it around and had Logan going there but oh to lose that thought so quickly! An intriguing ending. Very well done, Pandora. I really like this story a lot.

When Logan said he'd make Hank eat those stars and garters I couldn't keep from laughing. I adore Hank and that's one of my favorite expressions simply because I've always adored Beast when he was with the Avengers. Another very good chapter. Easy to read, not too long and very enjoyable. I'm reading at work btw when I should be working on my own story.

Story started with, I thought, yet another danger room scene much to my dread. I don't know why it is but I've read a lot of them lately. Well, this was good, very quick too and I enjoyed their compaionable relationship which was clearly shown here. I'm thinking this is pretty good. And then I get to the sex! It just was slipped in there pretty neatly. A crisp, scene well done, well written and the length - no pun intended - was just right. Now I'm curious how Logan will get over all this. Well done.

Loved this! It's about time Ororo broke down. She needed to do that. Logan and Ororo kissing --- YAY! I'm wondering who the Good Samaritan was? Is it the lurking smoker or just some random person? Can't wait to find out!

I'm happy that Logan realized that his image of Jean was just that an image and not the real person. I am also very happy to see that he realizes that he never really loved her and that she certainly never loved him.

I want to root for him and Ororo but I don't think I can until he and Jean are honest with Ororo and Scott about their affair. Logan needs to apologize to Scott. I know everyone always has Logan as being this bad ass, all-man who would never apologize to anyone but a real man would admit to his mistakes and apologize for betraying a friend.

Please, please do not have Scott forgive that lying piece of trash Jean. She deserves nothing but his contempt. I have never liked her character and have always thought that Scott deserved so much better than what she had to offer. I look forward to your next chapter.

Author's Response: In my head, the Logan-Jean thing mostly affects Scott. Ro will have feelings and strong opinions but truthfully she and Logan weren't a couple at the time. She will of course feel betrayed because she's in love with him, but realistically she can't hold him to the same standard betrayal that Scott can hold Jean to. In my head, Scott is the biggest injured party here and when the shit hits the fan with Lo and Jean it will be his reaction that most action will revolve around. Don' t worry, Ro'll have some choice things to say as well.

This was of course spot-on. Jean and Ororo have some great talks in this. The CPR class was realistic, I could picture the kids' facial expressions as they are talking to each other and visualize the gestures. I can't wait to see where you take this.

Author's Response: All I say is....is that there is no wasted information in this fic. In some chapters, what may seem like a throw away line or some useles expostition or description actually will come into play sometime later on.
