Interesting. Not familiar with the Civil War storyline at all. But I like your descriptions. I like the story and enjoy this beginning. Your descriptions of a post-apocolyptic NYC was chilling seeing how I'm a native - clutch the pearls. Look forward to following this one!

I skipped Civil War and just read the summaries of it on X-Axis and UncannyXmen.net instead, but this was good. Nice that you wove in the different tie-ins of that story and gave us an overview of what could have happened if everyone was registered; reminds me of Days of Future Past.

Intersting beginning....I've never read the Civil War stories but I'm familar with the basic story-line. I rather like how you have all of the different back plots and under plots as was revealed in this chapter. Great start and I can't wait for chapter three!

Author's Response: I have't red civil war thouroughly, but I like it, and this story has been on my mind for a long time and it feels good to have started writing it. Hope you will continue to like it :)
