ohhhhhhh, logan. sigh, what wonderful timing -- not. glad to see, though, that you tackled this one next (and even more excited to see that 'eyes in the dark' is next on the list. squee!). i really enjoy the short bit of character development that you've done with ororo in this chapter -- the realization that she's bent over backwards too often and not asserted herself in her relationships nearly to the extent that she's needed to. the fact that thoughts of logan are still clinging, though, is fantastic -- especially that old baseball cap she's still saved. forge and logan are probably two of the most polar opposite characters ever, and i love watching you toy with them. can't wait to see what's coming next (tho not till after i get to find out what's happening with poor werewolf logan.... i've been dying to read the next part of that for aaaaaages)!
Author's Response: yeah, Logan and his less than ideal (sort of) timing...he's a troublemaker. Ororo isn't quite as confident as she thinks yet, though. Forge was originally supposed to be more bumbling, but it occurred to me, why wouldn't Ororo have a really smooth guy interested in her? THe full moon will be rising again soon, I promise.

A date? With Forge?! Ew! LOL :D
Logan, where the hell are you? Come get your woman back before the cappuccino brownie sundaes get to her head! :)
Author's Response: Ha! yeah, he better get on the ball. hey, at least it's Forge! Could've been T'Challa...then I would've had to smack myself.

I am loving this story! I hope you include Logan in the next chpt
Author's Response: I might! Not sure how, but I just might! Thanks!

Cappuccino brownie sundae... that sounds amazing.
Is Logan coming back?? No dating Forge 'Ro even if he does take you to places that serve amazing sundaes.
Author's Response: That does sound amazing, doesn't it? Logan will come back...he will just have to work harder at getting into her good graces again.

Swwweet! I'd been thinking about this story just the other day! This chapter was hard to swallow but I know conflict has to be developed and all that logical stuff I had to tell myself when I'm just aching to get to the RoLo. I can hold out though!
thanks for updating.
Author's Response: Yay! I'm glad I tossed this out there to you when y ou were thinking about it! There will be more RoLo soon. Not too soon, but soon. I like watching her butt heads with Forge.

I really like this story. You really want to hate Logan but you can't. He was upfront with Ororo. I hope he gets major insanely jealous when he sees Ro with someone else. Please don't leave us hanging update soon.
Author's Response: He'll eventually realize he made a mistake. I will update sooner or later. I have two stories I'm tinkering with for updates now, so it's hard to make time for all of them, but thank you for the wonderful feedback.

oy! i've tried reviewing this story several times and they weren't posting!
i'm having fun reading this one. i love how sweet it is even though this chapter was good and angsty. and dundunduuuun...!!
i can't wait to see how these two work it out.
Author's Response: *chuckle* It is pretty angsty! I wallow in angst when I write. Even my fluff is kinda chewy. I can't wait to see how they work it out, either. We'll see what happens!

More pweez!!!!!
Author's Response: awwww...I'll see what I can do.

Oh man, poor Ro. I so felt for her as she was standing at his door. *hugs Ro*
Heh, who knew Val could be like this. Helpful! Whoa.
But what now? Forge? Ahh! *dies* ;D
Logan needs to come to his senses. But Ro needs to learn to calm down a notch or two as well when seeing someone. Don't bend your life around that man, girl; take it slow. We don't wanna scare them away while they still can escape! Ahem... *snorts ;D
Author's Response: Ororo thinks she's turning over a new leaf, but she still has bad habits to curb. Forge? Wahahahaha *rubs hands evilly* He isn't Mr. Perfect.

I love this. I love your imagry and the comedic approach. It's a great story and I can't wait to read the whole thing ... unfortunately ... I'm making (ich) meatloaf right now.
I can just hear god reclaiming my Y Chromosome.
Thanks for the good read. Goes into my favorites.
Author's Response: reclaiming your Y chromosome...I fell over when I read that, Brandon. High praise, indeed, when anyone male reads one of my chick lit stories, let alone reviews, so thank you. My whole family except me says "ick" about making meatloaf. Glad you liked the imagery. I tend to abuse imagery, but it's my favorite way to tell a story. Thanks for visiting.

OMG, what? My poor RoLo! *pouts*
Hm, at least he does not want to see other people. It could still work. After he's done with work and stuff. And there are such things as email and phones... Right? Right?! *cries* RoLo!
Author's Response: Logan tried too hard to be kind, so he had to be cruel. But he's already regretting what he said. That will come back to bite him. I promise!!!

I read this at LJ I believe and enjoyed it though didn't give much feedback there, took me a while to read it all you write such long chapters. Well, now that competition has reared his perhaps sexy head I forsee a bumpy ride for our RoLo.
Author's Response: Forge, Forge, Forge...he shows up like a bad penny in my stories! Sorry for the chapter length...it's hard to quit once I get going. Glad you liked it.

I'm too tired to finish this chapter now, but i want to tell you that i absolutely LOVE this story. It's absolutely brilliant, and it feels much more 'realistic' that anything that you've written before.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad it feels real.

Wow. This sounds very promising! I look forward to your next update!!
Author's Response: I'll update soon, kiddo. I'm just on a lull lately.

You are evil! Did you know that? You are pure evil for leaving me hanging like that. Any way I purely enjoyed it. I was actually hoping that Jean was in here because to be completely honest, I effing hate Emma Frost!
Author's Response: Awwww...I normally can't stand Emma, either, but I love making her sound simple and shallow. Or bitchy. It's a habit. Jean gets overused as an antagonist, even in my own stories. She needed a rest!!! Glad you enjoyed it, Niki.
