I enjoyed their meeting again this time as the sun set. I love the idea of them watching sunsets together. It always brings the title of this story to mind which is so lyrical and lovely. I love this story -- love it, love it, love it! It's made my weekend all the better. Now I'm off to read your other latest story and to pop you in my favorites.

Coming across more as a Jean-Scott and everyone else story than a Ororo-Logan. You barely give a 1000 or so words to the poor sucker(s)...

I know I am whining here, but excellent work...just hope you give 'atleast' one actual chapter to just the two of them, without any interupptions from about to croak dad, horn-dog ex-boyfriends or slut++y ex-wives!!

Author's Response: LOLOLOL...! Now now, BW--Patience is a virtue, after all. I promised more RoLo interaction, I plan to deliver. It's just that I can't neglect the rest of the build up--It's actually crucial to the Ororo/Logan relationship that's going to develop. (And remember, Jean isn't in her 'typical' role here...as you'll find out; as for Scooter--he wasn't even in this chapter! Cut me some slack, lol!) You know, I should do a PWP for you guys, to tide you over until this story's romance hits a full bloom ;o

Yum, lemon bars! :D I’m intrigued with this familiarity even Charles is aware of between Ororo and Logan and very curious why he can’t fess up. I'm dying to know what it is, how they're connected! And Logan’s memories were so sad. Another good chapter!

Author's Response: It's not that Charles CAN'T fess up--he's choosing not to, out a sense of (over?) protectiveness toward his daughter; he doesn't want to see her hurt anymore, especially considering how she reacted to the news of his illness. He's a father caught in a very sticky situation...so don't expect this version of Xavier to be omniscient & perfect; his actions may surprise some...

As you'll see in Chapter 9, I'm setting up a major turning point in their 'non' relationship...I'm at the point in the story where your wish is my command...(Besides, I think I've gotten the closet 'RoSco' shipper outta me for the moment--thank author Minisinoo for that, btw--LoL) Also, I'm pleased that you're enjoying the father/daughter dyn. here--It's something I'm really happy writing.
