Ororo has alot on her mind but what will she decide to do when it comes to Logan and how she feels about him? And what about her new friend David?

Well for one thing I got to say, Rogue will always be one of the few I see as Logan’s truer friends (comic verse), as for the movie I do believe there will be a mentor role for him, as he is for almost everyone in the X-Men willing to listen to his old advices (he always has one doesn’t he). So the Rogue you often portray I like on many different levels. At one time though I was not so sure of her in this story, when she was in full attack mode there ;p but as with the last parts, mucho better. As for Ororo eavesdropping well I can’t really either see her doing it, or not doing it... She is after all a thief in the bottom of her soul, so why not? But then she is that regal mother type and so much more, it doesn’t go very well with listening in (I would assume). So it’s a 50/50 situation for me. I do hope she will have lots and lots to say to Logan when there will be a confrontation, and not to be too forgiving. She has several reasons to be mad, but it may also be said she has reasons to try and fix the situation with Logan. As for the man of mystery himself, I see him in many ways in this story. A man that doesn’t have the courage to stand up and take fight (the leaving part). A man that has made mistakes in his life (to many ;p) but perhaps is looking to remedy those that can be done. A man that has gone thru a lot of things in his long life (as always). And lastly a man willing to risk his life for whatever the reason for those he holds dear. Now all this together don’t make him all that great or all that bad either, but that’s just the thing with Logan, he is ragged on the edges, he’s harsh, brutal and not always friendly. But there is a side to him that not many see, and I keep waiting to get the glimpse of that inner man. I am eagerly awaiting the end of the line to see what this story could conjure for an ending, either bad or good (seems many are afraid of sad/bad endings). As for the ring, and the “what I am” part, does that perhaps link to the Howlett story of his life? Heh seems I got out of the reviewslump for previous chapter ;p

Author's Response: Thanks for liking Rogue, especially in this fic. This is the first fic in which she is getting so much attention...usually she is there, but just as a supporting cast. Here, she is front and center. As for Ororo and the eavesdropping...coming soon...The Clarification. And as far as Logan is concerned...that too in the next chapter. I plan to make it a Ororo-Logan confrontation. And the ring, it will get all parts...You'll see.

I like Rogue in this story. So much for that ;) She is very close to Logan and is not afraid kicking him in the butt if needed. She also is able to "translate" his actions to others. I still want to know though why she's completely on his site here. Because right now, given all the facts we know at the moment, I'm still mad at Logan that he did what he did. Or let's say, that he fucked who he fucked! I liked Ro's thoughts a lot, both the contra and the pro voice... but I think she didn't do anything wrong. Maybe Logan turned to Jean because she didn't let him get any closer, yes. BUT! He still shouldn't have done it! Period. He claimed to want her. All of her! He told her as much. Ro was still hesitant because of past betrayals and wanted to take it slow. See if he really meant it, see if she was ready for it. And if what he said was true (and I guess it was, because I take it he wouldn't just say things like that) he should have proved to her that he was worth it, that he was worth the risk of starting a realationship with, that he was worth her love that he was worth EVERYTHING! ...and speaking of "worth it". I still want to know what he meant by that when he told her about him and Jean. What about the eavesdropping? I don't see Ro doing that. At least not that long and not if what she heard concerned herself. I see her bursting into the room, shoving Rogue and Remy out, locking the door, pinning Logan to wherever he is at that moment saying "We need to talk. And don't even think about running!". But maybe things will explain themselves soon *hint hint*. So I'll just sit here and wait. Even though I hate the waiting part in that... ;)

Author's Response: You seemed to have got Rogue on the dot. I meant for her to be...Logan's mouthpiece so as to say. He has trouble expressing his feelings...verbally. That's where she steps in. As for 'Ro and her 'eavesdropping'...wait till the next chapter.

Logan bashing witch? Uh-huh. Well, I don't have a helluva a lot to say about this chapter. Take Rogue out of t. Period. Logan doesn't need a 16 year old teenager telling him how to deal--even if she has his essence. He's 125 she's 16. She couldn't possibly understand all of the inner musing that are wolverine. As for Ro listening...I can't see that. She's too mature. She's still a bit immaturein this fic in her actions. Ro will face her shit head on, not avoid it. Don't take the bashing too hard, obviously you have readers, and write it any damn way you want. I'll review either way.

Author's Response: Take Rogue out!! Can you take Remy out of ur fics. Do that and I'll mirror it with Rogue. The more anti-Rogue sentiment I get, the more I'll write her into the story line. And 'Ro listening. There is a reason for that. As for the bashing...you can't win always. Its a sticks n' stones thing.

This is coming to a head! Ororo is gonna face Wolvie head on. Words will be said, but I know they both want and need each other. She's going crazy and can't even have dinner with a guy who's madly in love with her without thinking about Logan. He's losing his mind and snapping at the only person who has been his friend since the beginning, Rogue. I actually like Rogue's "involvement" in this fic. She is the brigde of sanity between the two of them. Hopefully she'll talk Logan into making the first move! Great chapter!!!!

Author's Response: Yup. That face2face should happen in the next chapter. As for her being love with either man, still haven't thought that up completely. You are one of the few readers who appreciate Rogue. Usually I have seen that RoLo 'shippers tend to scorn at Rogue. Thanks once again!!

Give Ro her time and her say then I'll leave you alone. Right now I'm tired of hearing about what's going on from Rogue. She shouldn't really be so centralized in this. Even this being about Storm...you see a significant role of Rogue. I think there should be some one on one time. I don't think Rogue, or Storm over hearing Rogue is the key to make Storm think...or to make Wolverine make a decision on where he stands where he fights for what he wants. This is still ridiculous..there is not equal footing..your just getting stupidity and juvenile tendencies from two adults, and one centuries old. This is bloody retarded get me the one on one and focusing on them in their own right..without supporting rolers! VB

Author's Response: I know you got tired of Rogue the instant you read her name for the first time!! She is not helping anyone make a decision. There will a small snippet of the reason she is so staunchly behind him. And supporting 'rolers' are very important, expecially for a loner like Logan....movieverse Logan at that.

dont stop running just yet i dont think they will be happy with this chapter its good god is it good but i think they want oyu to punish him alittle more i dont but i am just one man, just one opinion i love they story but it seems like ororo is devloping some SERIOUS mental problems lol i like the interraction between logan marie and gumbo hope to see more of it

Author's Response: Ororo's mental problems are coming to and end. In the last chapter and this one, we have seen both sides of the arguments as seen from her eyes/POV. The next chapter will be a Logan-Ororo one...most probably.
